Whenever I see a Haisley article I immediately click it, scroll down (which takes longer than most deadspin articles because no one can turn a ten word quote from Philip Lahm into a 5000 word anti-mls rant quite like ol’ Billy.) and dive into the savage mob that is the comment section in a Haisley article.

I created an account just to comment on the internet that that Carlos Vela ‘skills’ video is the saddest skills video I’ve ever seen. The first 90 seconds was just him getting fouled!

I come only for the comments. He writes the same trash over and over: “MLS Sucks”, “Real Madrid and Ronaldo are somehow not good even though they win everything” and “Here’s a Gerard Deulofeu article that nobody asked for”. Reading his bullshit is waste of brain space.

At least the Ponzi scheme article was original and thought provoking. This is just more of Billy yelling “MLS Sux” at high volume and yucking it up when we all dutifully click and comment.  

It’s been fun scrolling down to the comments to check out people trashing Billy, but I just can’t click on these shit articles anymore.

I have no interest in soccer but Billy’s articles trashing MLS are the best.

Truth: I’m 34 years old. I hadn’t watched basketball hardly ever before. I heard Doris Burke during a game while flipping channels one day a few years ago. I stopped and listened. I’ve watched basketball ever since and it’s because of her talent and not a player’s.

Fuck yes. Burke is the shit. More of her, less of everyone else.
