The mention of Krennic reminded me of something that bugged me about the post-credits scene in the Andor finale: why was the Death Star so close to completion? In the scene you see droids assembling the big space laser dish thingy—this looks like the final stage of construction, and the rest looks doneand then in

That moment where the brass band music changes from a melancholy funeral march to a “WE COMIN” march

Pipe bomb builder was the son of the man who was helping Bix communicate with Luthen. Whatever space radio she was using, it was stashed at his business. Later he got taken in by the Empire and tortured --- I think he’s the one who gave up Bix --- and finally killed. So Pipe Bomb Boy had reasons.

That did not feel like a second-last episode of the season! WAY too much stuff to resolve/advance. (It’s to this show’s credit that I’m dying to know what happens to virtually every member of a sprawling cast.)

More connective tissue to Rogue One: one of the prisoners with Cassian is named Melshi --- who will go on to be part of the Rebels’/Jyn and Cassian’s Scarif mission team. Same actor, I’m pretty sure.

Don’t forget Dan O’Brien’s comment when Hays and West first talk to him at the wake for Will Purcell, something about how he thought Lucy should be with a manly-er man.

I will say this: the Trump era thus far has been visibly nastier and more unpredictable than presidencies past, and reporters can’t be as certain that they won’t face some form of retribution for “just doing their jobs.” Prosecution? Suddenly seems possible. Violence at the hands of some media-steeped nut? Maybe. It’s

Honest question [that I can’t be the only one asking]: How is Bernie pushing for this debate different from Ted Cruz declaring Carly Fiorina his VP pick?
