I didn't even count the DSO Nano (Portable Osc.), Custom IEM's + Portable Amp, or the Multitools (some cool for airplanes, others not).

Forgot to add the Sony Liveview and the developer preview of the Pebble I have coming. The fiance has a TI MSP430 smartwatch.

Nope. I carry this much stuff on a regular trip pretty often. 17" HP Envy, HP Touchpad running 3 OS', another 7" or 10" tablet (hacked BB tablet or Gtablet w/keyboard case or the new Nexus7), HTC Evo 3D, iPod Touch (Bejeweled Blitz!), Couple of 2A USB chargers, Power Bricks, and a Nokia Lumina or Samsung Flash Windows

My personal bare minimum is:

Just so you know, I majored in engineering. Literary skills = 0

Harvard wait-listed me, then accepted. Screw that, if you put me on a wait-list I am just going to go elsewhere and I did. Northwestern University is what I call my alma matter and the Harvard grad my same age are stuck in cubicles or selling their soul to do stock and bond trades.

I will promote you john, get that Star!

I used to work for a company specializing in airplane electronics, its a fictitious lie about modern electronics affecting airplane operation. Maybe if you had a big battery packing analog satellite phone with the antenna pointed at the cockpit. That thing wouldn't fit in a carry-on anyway. The Cellular airplane

Usually people in those situations know that their home is not that stable and go to a stable or safe place built of concrete and steel . If you choose to stay in a motorhome during a storm, you may have had it coming. Be realistic here.

The funniest part about them hitting trailer parks and decimating homes is that THEIR HOMES ARE MOBILE! They could have just MOVED them.

Hello Neighbor!

Considering that it is illegal to carry pepper spray in many European countries, I would say that they keep their citizens "under control" rather than the other way around.

Psssh. We also have a Glock 34 in the house. So in case of emergency we can both just keep tossing each other magazines for the 9mils. Got the Judge Ultralite bobberless as well (which is stronger and lighter than the normal steel version).

Dude, get a back pocket holster. Conceals well, no need to get new pants for most men and is a faster grab than your waistband.

Wow, I never really understood the European viewpoint that all Americans had a bunch of guns and we are all just "having a ho-down and shooting stuff" (as gathered from people I work with who are generally not from the US or just here for 3 months). The hard truth is that maybe your countries didn't place enough trust

Yeah, but can ANY of the other compact 9mil, .40, .45 take a 33 round double stack mag of mazine after you blow through your 12 round magazine? I can fit all of that in a normal purse

A $5 pack of Sugru will fix it. Mold the outer part of your ear and stick in the IEM's. Its a low medical grade silicone and skin-safe for long use.

I know its horrible. However it is one of those moments that when it starts you can't help but laugh. Then, you feel really horrible about laughing and embarrassed for everyone (mostly of yourself)
