I guess BMW is deciding it costs some X number of dollars to support Apple Car Play, and updating for future IOS versions. Instead of baking that cost into the price of the car, they are charging you annually in the name of “revenue streams”. Short sighted IMO, and prone to subscription fatigue. However upon further

Im in houston, I have 2900 bucks. <check the make, see land rover> oh, nm pass. CP

genuine question- given your fleet of rusty jeeps and your time value how much money have you saved vs buying a new/slightly used vehicle? No judgement in that question, and I spend my days in pawn shops and resale shops looking for old music gear which is more or less the equivalent of your all things old jeep hobby.

Im waiting for the moment when GM brass admit their design language was all a big troll. My wife got a new silverado as a loaner from the dealer while her car is being serviced. If the dealer is buying silverados to loan out, you know the situation is bad...

This is the correct answer. You do not become a billionaire by playing fair and considering others feelings.

It seems that most german manufacturers publish a wheel horsepower number. It doesnt do a whole lot of good to say this car has 500 horsepower, when all you get to use is 400 of it by the time it gets through the driveline to the wheels. It also explains why you can take cars that have similar horsepower and torque

My first new vehicle was a 1993 S-10 that didnt look too dissimilar from this one. Mine had the 2.8L V6 with a 5 speed. It was modest power, but could roast the right rear tire surprisingly well. I think at 5000 bucks I would consider it, but in 1993 my brand new S-10 was 7900 bucks out the door, so 8500 is a bit high.

Mazda will get luxury cred when they offer more propulsion options than a forced induction or naturally aspirated 2.5 in all their vehicles. You cant be luxe unless you have a gas guzzling option that increases the sticker price by 5 figures, and the requisite I spent more than you badge-ing.

Queue the dealership response: “We are very sorry for what happened, and this is not how we do business. The employees have been reprimanded and we will do better going forward”

I do like the way they subtly mention how Toyota tuned the I6 to last longer than a 3 year lease vs BMWs take on things. While Im not super crazy about the looks of this thing, I would definitely like to take it for a spin.

Tis an interesting choice for sure, I thought the correct answer to any toyota engine swap was “2JZ”

I went into Jeep ownership questioning my sanity and thinking I’m a masochist. I bought the extended warranty as insurance to boot. Thing is I’m now 62k miles into my grand Cherokee srt and it’s been amazingly reliable. It’s got that same switch gear as the 200 though.

The bulk of the chassis is a combination of G/H body parts IIRC. I had a 1993 s10 regular cab and those wheels came stock. 15” 215/65 I think. I had the 130hp 2.8 v6 in mine and though it wasn’t even close to fast if the right rear tire got wet I could lay down an epic burnout. I guess I am cut from the same cloth as

The dude sweeping up the garage kills me. He was in no hurry to check out the scene.

The one detail that you missed is that every other person is driving while instafacetwitchatgraming.

My first thought was to click np to be the one vote. I guess my wife was right when she said I’m neither funny or original...

I can’t say NP on this. 25k is a bit much despite looking like a solid runner. I am thinking the right price is in the 12-15k range. That is coming from my completely reliable gut instinct price meter* too.

They were altitude testing a few weeks ago in Colorado

    That is an amazing car...
