I was actually discussing his with some friends, and I came to the conclusion one of the best game to movie adaptations has to be Mortal Kombat. It told it’s story well, kept the important characters to a managable number, and left quite a few character cameos and nods to the original game in for all the hardcore

So true. Their reviews and retrospectives, plus Pop Fiction, were the main reasons I watched their site. Glad they came back.

What can I say, I’m a maverick.

And now, something else:

I think that’s a little extreme, especially when the cut content in certain titles has no real effect o the game as a whole. Take Xenoblade Chronicles X, where what they cut was just the breasts slider from character creation and the swimsuit for Lin. Sure, you can make the argument to leave it in the game, but those

CLG won that for two reasons: First, RNG made some minor mistakes in a few team fights that CLG was able to capitalize on. Second, CLG’s Stixxay and XMithie came out swinging in the late game, scoring some necessary kills to gain the advantage and close the game. I mean, did you see that Dragon fight? I never would

Now playing

Not sure if I’d go to one of her concerts, but it’s pretty cool they are doing a U.S. tour.

The thing is, Nintendo has been the same for a long time. They’ve had a long history of selling weaker consoles tech wise at a cheaper price and outperforming the competition with them, outshining them with unique games and their huge library of first party franchises.

While that might be true, those same people will likely watch whatever live streaming presentation Nintendo does anyway. And doing a demo event open to the public can be better than difficult to get into E3. Besides, since they are only going to be showing Zelda this year, it clearly means they have nothing to show

I kinda agree with this one. Why sort through all the hype of E3 when then can just do a Direct like they’ve been doing the last few years. Then they can do hands-on demos at a press event or a convention like PAX.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about all this. While I do think Johannson can play the part, I still feel that the role of Major Kusanagi should’ve gone to an Asian actress. Same goes for most of tbe casting so far.

I’m in the same boat as far as FTP games go, but I’m a sucker for KH games. Surprised how good this game is.

What made it even better was when the camera switched to the crowd where there was a Team Four Star sign held by the Abridgers themselves.

I hope so, that Diva’s belt looks horrible. To me it’s a sign of disrespect to the whole division when all the men’s titles look like traditional belts, while the women get something that looks like a bad tatoo.

I’m quite amazed they had so much planned and only the release date leaked prior. I really like the fact they went out of their way to give so much to the fans in the months prior to the game since they know how long people have been waiting for it.

That scene was from the Justice League Unlimited episode Epilogue, worth watching since it not only is a good Batman story, but serves as a proper ending to Batman Beyond.

Wow, cool. I’ve known of Miku for a few years, but wasn’t really into any of her games/music until Project Mirai DX came out here in the U.S. Kinda glad I was feeling like getting a rhythm game that day.

Okay, officially envious of your good fortune.

Gotta be honest, Fahey. I blame you for my current obsession with the project Diva and project Mirai games.

It might have to do with the weird stereotype of it being all about sex. I’ll admit I used to think that way about furries, mostly thanks to some horror stories I heard from a few people at some anime and gaming cons I went to.
