Sort of hoping he ends up flying some horrific kit-bashed “uglies” type of monstrosity that hurts your eyes and everyone is like “Dank farrik what are you flying?!” Like a B wing with tie fighter bits nailed to it and an AT-AT cockpit at one end.

I bet Mando will show up in the last episode in the middle of the action and the Boba Fett goes: “What took you so long?”

I believe that, after he lost his contracts with Jabba, he couldn’t pay the financing and it was sadly repossessed.

Have not watched the episode, had hoped for Fett’s Vette, now am disapoint.

You make excellent points and I certainly have no more desire for a shitty depiction of mental illness than you do.

Someone said that RotJ was really all about Lucas and Henson’s friendship and I suspect that’s why it’s gone up in my estimation over the years.

There were plenty of Superman comics after the he died, introducing the 4 or 5 new not-Supermans. Then DC brought real-Superman back (with long hair) so fast it instantly, retroactively deleted the drama of his death.

“I think one reason [the death of Superman] was so powerful was that after the ‘Funeral for a Friend’ story, there were no Superman comics for three months

This was a little better than last week but not by much .

Vigilante is essentially Deadpool, right down to the actor’s voice. I’m not complaining ... I just really want a James Gunn-helmed Deadpool movie.

“This is a title that we imagine could live on the spine of a book next to J.R.R. Tolkien’s other classics.”

FUUUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKK

YOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Snyder being “way nicer than Whedon” is still a pretty low bar to clear. ZS’s pretty obvious egging on of the more toxic parts of his stan-base around getting ZSJL released was pretty gross.

The female characters on Roseanne were way more complex and interesting than most of Whedon’s female characters. They weren’t punished for having sex and their romantic relationships were way healthier than anything in the Buffyverse. I’m guessing this speaks to him having less of an influence on Roseanne.

Looks like fun but doesn’t even scratch the surface of how weird actual 30s cartoons could get.

I don’t think he is at all except for when he’s trying to disguise his voice at times in homecoming. And at that point... he’s a teenager trying to use a deeper cool guy voice, so I mean, it’s not supposed to be good?

On the intro to Fray, he went on about how Kitty Pryde was his favorite character and he wanted more characters like her. Which, cool! But then he went on about her body and how he wasn’t into the usual buxom superheroine types. And I realized, at the time, that he somehow believed being attracted to slimmer,

Around the time I was watching Buffy in the late ‘90s I also started watching Blake’s 7. While that show had its own share of issues with writing for women, the first season with Cally and Jenna was such a breath of fresh air in just seeing these women who got to fight and go on missions, and then sometimes we’d see

I think it’s evidence of just how garbage women’s roles in media were for a long time that people fell all over themselves for his female characters. Only hire male showrunners - > get garbage female characters. And then drop dead with thankfulness when female characters are only sort of problematic.

American here. I legit thought Holland was American until about a month ago.
