Yeah I get that.

But what I said was: if we assume they were chaos2992's idea is inconsistent with that. Even though he cites it as a reason for older Orc’s being “better”.

Even if we run with that one. It would kinda speak against earlier Orcs being stronger and more capable. That they were made, in batches, through magic or whatever. They wouldn’t pop out completely perfected.

Teachers do the teaching. It’s a skill set in it’s own right, and having had a few of the “can’t do, so teach” types as a kid. They’re pretty shit teachers.

It’s “not processed in a way”. It’s often made from grains with gluten, and that’s enough.

Nuclear weapons have only been used against people on 2 occasions, yet it’s not uncommon for people to say something can withstand “anything”.

The HD was later. And was launched a bit after the iPod touch.

Thing was it wasn’t really an equivalent, even as it was a competitor. The iPod touch was basically an iPhone without phone. Maybe a bit of a dry run for tablets, by selling a small one as an MP3 player.

The Zune HD leaned a lot heavier into the media

I worked with WebEx in a carefully unspecified capacity years ago. A lot of it was a series of subcontracted live stream services and platforms from much smaller companies run through a container or white labelled as a WebEx product. It’s a thing largely because it can be tied into other Cisco contracts, and because

Oh yeah that much is obvious. Even if they didn’t care about the PR, at this point it’s just safety issue in terms of having them on set.

But they’ve already finished shooting. The release date is a year off and they’ve been in post for months. There’s probably still room for reshoots, and there’s likely to be a significant re-edit. But recasting at this point would mean basically starting over on shoot costing 100s of millions of dollars.

And given what they’ve spent on it, and the whole DCEU thing they can’t afford to bury it. Or leave that kind of gap in their release schedule. They’re not going to be able to get another tentpole of this scale together in a year, and they aren’t going to just be able to pull another one up or delay something else.

People don’t use crawfish in place of the shrimp in shrimp and grits because that’s not really consistent with how and where the dish came about.

the stock ratio for a high ball is 2:1. On a baseline of 1.5oz or 2oz of 40% abv liquor. In practice typical highball glasses are at least 10-12oz so it’s more like 3-1. Math on that might lead you to a higher ABV, but 2 things.

That doesn’t account for dilution from the ice, which is an integral part of any drink.

I think the well established format of play, volume, clicky d pad, etc is pretty intuitive. And was already at that point. The Zune basically used the same set of controls established for portable music with the original Walkman. In a format that had been fairly common since the early 90's.

The original iPod did

That’s the thing though. The Zune had better on device controls, very simple physical buttons over that wheel shit. The software was incredibly simple, easy to navigate and clear compared to iTunes. It was much, much easier to get your existing media on there. I regularly use the software to transcode files for school

This was my biggest problem with it. Pre-iPod hd based mp3 players did that universally.

It was the world’s most common browser for like 20 years. It was so successful MS got hit with anti trust suit over it.

Yeah the software was a bit basic but was far easier to use than iTunes, and worked as a basic, free, transcoder.

Lucky you could get System Shock running at all. It’s legendarily hinky to even load up on modern systems. Daggerfall too, I have my old CD somewhere. I’ve never been able to get it to run on anything more modern than an actual DOS system.

It’s less weird if you don’t assume it’s a bunch of puritan bull to limit consumption. A lot of it is about regulating the market to prevent monopolization and direct ownership of retail and wholesale by large scale producers.

That hasn’t exactly worked in terms of maintaining a fair and competative market. Mass

There’s an issue with that. This all seems to have gone down after she had here “Born Again” moment. The timeline here seems to indicate this was the situation in the lead up to her campaign in 2020. She says she became the obnoxious kind of Christian in 2009.
