“Open source” wouldn’t be the term. I guess off patent? Or Patent free?

That’s the thing. mutations that let a strain take over aren’t necessary linked to severity.

The flu is definitely not just transmitted by hand contact

“It’s just more infectious.”

Yeah which makes a decent chunk of those who do, wearing a piece of theater a pretty bad thing.

I know the show runner said it was cancelled for being “too gay” and laid it on an un-named exec. Which wouldn’t surprise given who was running Marvel TV during it’s pre-production.

But I also saw reporting prior to it’s cancellation that it was headed to serious reshoots. And the set photos and costume tests and shit

Influenza is at least 4 species. 2 of which are responsible for seasonal flu. All of which regularly throw out epidemic strains, and all of which have created pandemic strains. Many of them new.

Also I’m not sure if you get what “lineage” means.

Thanks could not recall the rest of the slate.

but cloth masks are still effective.

Bad way to phrase it.

Cause the N95 without fancy fitting is still as effective as (if not more so) than any other barrier mask.

You know they’re free to us because governments are paying the pharma companies right?

IRRC the 6 month immunity waning was in the context of Delta. Prior to that the early results were pointing at immunity lasting much longer than expected. As in against the original pandemic strain used to develop the vaccine, immunity persisted much longer than expected. But against new strains the time line was

I had a flu shot at the same time as my booster.

I had few to no side effects from the first two COVID shots.

That booster/flu combination wrecked me for 3 days.

But hopefully, over a couple of more years, the dominant mutations will be those that don’t destroy the host

It doesn’t. And from what I understand we’re seeing so many variants pop up mostly because there’s so many infections. Cause global pandemic and all.

I think you’ve entirely missed my point.

These are not complaints they’re criticisms.

I picked a few examples of how the game is still a work in progress.

And despite the fact that I’ve repeatedly said that’s what I’m doing. You keep offering “solutions” for one particular example.

If you haven’t caught it yet I’m not looking for advice on farming or min maxing. I’m not particularly into that. It breaks the role play.

I mean if they’re adapting the early games they’ll probably talk to the early crew at least a bit.

Or hopefully at least play them a bit.

But I doubt Bethesda licensed this with idea of fore fronting some one else’s work.

I always spec heavily into crafting because the game is literally balanced around it, if you’re not crafting you’re tying one hand behind your back.

And with the reduction in mod slots, and most mod types being locked to particular types of clothing. It becomes and either or situation.

Either skill bonuses or armor/mitigation.

With mods locked by tier, and many of the skill ones appearing as legendries or other hirer tier. In a lot of cases you’re just locked out
