All that chop cheese bullshit

$1 slices are almost never big enough to fold. The whole trick with that shit is to compromise everything. Lowest quality cheese and pre-made sauce. Skimp on both. Make them pizzas tiny.

Then if you add a topping it becomes a $3 slice.

Dollar Slice /= New York Pizza. It’s the trash food that’s destroying the pizza

but it’s filled with dubious acting, questionable cinematic choices (not bad, but questionable), has slightly-off pacing, and is just extremely Hollywood in a way that’s kind of unintentionally funny at times.

I think that take on “weaponize” a bit misses the point, and a lot of the later material where there’s like cyborg Aliens with head lasers and genetic hybrids and shit sort of takes it a little too literally.

Just as an example. These things are full of an acid that can cut straight through a space ship. Quickly.

Hints and Easter eggs were laced through Prometheus and Covenant. And there was some stuff in Blade Runner 2049.

Things like Weyland-Yutani logo popping up in Blade Runner, backgrounds screens on the Alien side matching screens from the original blade runner. And then marketing material all round that had like W-Y

He said that we really are nearly there with downloading an astronaut’s consciousness on a ship

It’s funny. Cause Stonks bros keep insisting GameStop is undervalued/strong of the top of some mythical shift to digital distribution. As if a PC market that’s locked into Steam, that they abandoned decades ago will some how jump all over Game Stop for reasons. Or Microsoft and Sony will suddenly allow 3rd party

I ordered tests from CVS 2 weeks before Christmas, before the shortage fully kicked off.

They arrived yesterday.

As goes the Androids we see in Alien. They’re shown to be plenty intuitive and innovative.

But they’re also shown to be pretty emotional, if cryptically. And kind of unreliable.

I’m gonna continue to ignore Resurrections, as it does not seem to count.

Yeah they’re easy to come by near my folks. Just cause that’s a small town with a seasoning of Trumpers.

but we don’t because it’s more expensive than just using people with machines.

checking a fan wiki, which I assume is 100% accurate

they’d lost a rebellion and were mostly outlawed. (I might be wrong about the timings)

delicate people into space when you can just send a crew of androids.

criminal mummies

I could do without Alicia Silverstone. She’s nutty as hell, big on “attachment parenting” which is apparently when you breast feed your kid till they’re 12. And she’s very much the “I’m not anti-vax, but” type.

The Lidl version is every bit as good as the real thing. They have just about the best knock off Thin Mint I’ve ever had too.

17th. Fell out of fashion, came back around the turn of the 20th as an ettiquette thing.

Got it’s feminist connotations in the 60's and 70's.

Honestly in the BPRD trades the sketchbook pages are loaded with like 20 different designs for things followed “Mike had a better idea so we didn’t use any of these”. Or a paragraph about how fun it is to draw impossibly complex background items followed by “anyway we didn’t use it because by then the book was running

It’s actually screen accurate to the OT.
