You might want to read some of the sequel cast interviews that have come out more recently. Along with Abrams on the subject. Disney seems to have left these people hanging without support, and to a certain extent blamed them. Overall sort of caved to pressure and fed into it. More than a few people who know more than

Even as some one who likes a fair bit of picking apart, analyzing and even maybe trying to predict things here and there with this stuff.

The entire tenor of fan chatter is now pretty exhausting. All of it is rumor mill. All of it is just balls to walls speculation from a vacuum.

Uh, did you read the previous comment?

Cause a I never said anything about some one being displeased with the next contracted project being a deal breaker.

But some one very much might seek to get out of their contract, or refuse to sign another one if they’re getting death threats from fans and Disney is doing

I’m still impressed that it works as well as it does for someone like me who hasn’t seen those shows.

But they may care about potential law suits. And certainly care if people stop signing on or re-upping contracts.

Who could predict Baby Yoda? And I think keeping him a secret was absolutely, 100% the right move, because if they’d revealed him in the pre-release marketing, I think people like myself and potentially others would’ve sneered and dismissed the show.

Yeah but it isn’t neccisarily about internet yelling. It’s potentially about their bottom line, as well as death threats and harassments of their staff.

We’ll discover that all the Netflix shows happened in a “variant” universe, or something.

I dunno if keeping things a surprise is even the biggest goal at this point.

There’s been offshore windfarm proposals in the area that would well exceed the power from Indian Point, or what new nuclear proposals could provide.

A lot of the electric hookups I’ve seen in large NYC buildings were installed by Thomas Edison.

Like I said we’re talking about decades long factors here. I’m not so sure that it’s impossible for people to freeze to death in a high rise 5 years from now when the grid is still a shambles.

It’s not like this is a problem that hits everyone, everywhere in NYC at the same time. It’s sometimes, in some buildings. But

To the state. NYC /= New York State. There’s 11 million people in the state that aren’t in NYC. NYC alone consumes something like 8000-12000 megawatts. And there’s a whole nother one of those population wise, multiple other cities and a hell of a lot of industry.

And how long will it take to establish? It’s not a real response to the safety concern of electric heating in some areas to say “one day we might fix it”. Fixing the power grid is a decade long process. And NYC already has people freeze to death during power outages, on the regular. They have to setup public heating

Well you’ve never seen it, but you assume?

And pertinently you aren’t going to see what extent of the Americanized version of that food is eaten at home.

There’s a safety one. Appliances meant for portable propane tanks throw off too much carbon monoxide to be safely used indoors.

The large outdoor tanks you see are as likely to be natural gas as propane. And they’re used where there are gas mains to provide the hookup. My folk’s house uses a natural gas tank. Think

A lot of people seemed to think they wouldn’t. After Disney and Sony’s spat a couple years back a lot people assumed it was a one and done. A lot of people are still assuming they keys will be handed off to Sony entirely.

I have had too much coffee. And i am feeling chatty.
