I was wondering why all the Frito Lay Reps I run into in the field had sudden been replaced by women in their late 20's.

A company like Frito Lay relies on a decade of economic turmoil to keep employees around while they put off raises and lower starting pay.
The past decade are so have seen the worst labor market in the US since the great depression. Mapping pretty closes to those 12 years there. Impacts have have disproportionately fallen on working class and blue collar job sectors and are concentrated in certain areas.
Big chunks of this country you stay at a company…
Almost everything you’ve said is incorrect.
I don’t know why people seem to think this us something anyone wants. Android rolled out something similar around the same time. I’m now getting constant notifications about the weather wherever I am standing.
Yeah I remember hearing that proposal. I think there’s a lot of complications on where to get the water from, and running a 100+ mile canal to the ocean.
The Colorado River is already being tapped pretty heavily, and you got to divert the water from some where. You could desertify a bunch of the existing river valley,…
The environmental damage is the lake being there in the first place. It’s only existed since about 1905 and it was only a nice place to visit between about the 30s or 40s and 1970. With temps up and people dumping less water down there it's just reverting back to the toxic salt flat it always was.
You could divert the Colorado river. Which is kinda how it happened in the first, and there’s been a body of water there in the deep past, like thousands of years ago deep past. But that would probably fuck shit up even worse.
The salts you’d be after are alkali salts. GM is going after lithium salts, but there’s like other useful elements up in there. These sorts of desert salt beds we tend not be talking about the kind of concentrated sodium chloride.
Problem with that is the water is largely run off/diverted from all that agriculture.
“It’s no Rio de Janeiro”
Sounds like they’re planning to basically filter the lithium out of the water. Which could actually improve the water quality, or could be done in a way that did.
ADR is often REALLY noticable. Audio recorded in a given space sounds a particular way, and it’s almost impossible to recreate or match in a studio. That’s aside from lip sync issues that lead to most ADR you see being lines where the character’s mouth isn’t visible.
Because they didn’t have rights to the games, and Sapkowski was still fighting with CD Project.
The food service malt we used to use at the ice cream parlor back when I was a clueless teen wasn't far off Horlick's. If you can find a restaurant supply that stocks dry goods, or find a way into Restaurant Depot you can probably get a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff.
Rural canada doesn’t have milkshakes?
“that they skimp on the malted milk powder”
Yeah it’s an odd take.
“Even King Author Baking recommends 1-3 beans per 6oz.”
That’s what my sister uses most often for basics. And she’s a crazy balls baker that does a little professional pastry work. She keeps two or three different vanillas around, minimum, for different uses.
