Fun fact, the neo nazis actually coopted the skinhead look. It was originally a group within the hardcore punk scene, and it’s traditionally anti-racist. In fact, punk in and of itself is usually pretty egalitarian overall. It sucks how hate groups can screw things up for others. Bald, white men shouldn’t scare

I don’t know why, but I’ve never been able to trust other white guys who shave their heads, especially if they’re in any kind of law enforcement. Yeah, you can do it for balding, but most people would just get a buzz cut instead.

With that said, this doesn’t seem right. He didn’t have to punch him in the face. What

That’s shirty of you to say...

One thing I’m interested to see is how will those characters feel to be back? Fatman on Batman’s Marc Bernardin brought it up in his review. In season 6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, they bring Buffy back from the dead. She spends that season until Once More With Feeling struggling with the fact that she’s not happy to

A well executed movie makes you forget those things in the moment. I didn’t cry, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get choked up.

Mine just plays the tune from when Sonic jumps on one of the speed shoes boxes... :(

I wish I could offer more than words, but hopefully knowing that so many of us wish you well will aid in your recovery in some way. You’re an irreplaceable part of why I love this site, and I hope for your swift and full recovery!

That Lola is great, but I saw an even better one. I’d post my picture of her, but I’m embarrassed by the quality, compared to these...

No one is imagining anything. No one is saying that this is causing direct, immediate, life crippling harm. That’s what is truly silly about this discussion. I’m having to go out of my way to explain to you a very real occurrence. Representations in media have an affect on how we view people. That’s not a radical

Yeah, the guy who listed out why it’s possible for negative stereotypes like this to affect people of those groups negatively is the one who hasn’t been thinking. I’m sorry, but I’m not the one who’s accepting a superficial view of the situation as correct, you are.

I’m sure you have...for the few minutes it takes you to read someone else’s comments on the matter, and immediately dismiss them, because it doesn’t fit your world view. That’s not thinking very hard.

None of what you just mentioned, despite your post’s length, is difficult enough to be used as a valid reason for not porting it.

When you take a culture, boil it down into a stereotype, and use it as a joke; it can cause people to take that culture and its people less seriously. It can paint how people view people of that culture, and can lead to real world racism. Just because it doesn’t affect YOU doesn’t mean that it doesn’t affect others,

I’ve been waiting for this. I get the gist of Magic, but I’ve been looking for an easier, cheaper way to get into deck building.

I like how I’m actually describing why I think the way I do, and you’re just repeating some version of “I disagree.” It’s pretty evident that you’re viewing this very selfishly and superficially.

In the age of digital releases, it’s hardly hampering anyone. Also, a cartridge for Shenmue would probably be the lowest size, even with both games on it. The mapping for the joycons and pro controllers shouldn’t be any different. Developers who’ve ported over to the Switch have stated over and over that it’s not

Except that this is Shenmue, and it’s not so advanced that it can’t be ported over. Also, you can choose to NOT use the more “quirky” features of the device, and the games will play with the exact same controls as they have on any other system.

It’s silly that it’s not coming to Switch.

I came here to say something similar.

Sure, if you see importance as an absolute. However, importance isn’t an absolute. It comes in levels. While stereotypes like these aren’t as important to combat as being directly racist toward people of that region, they are important enough to avoid continuing their use, regardless of their mainstay in media.
