I don't think most people, let alone 'everyone' doubted the Switch at launch. I remember a lot of excitement surrounding the concept. But that just goes to show how perspectives are, I guess. I'm glad it was a success, and it definitely proves that the market isn't always right.

Yes, but most of those games get far less press coverage and didn’t have the controversy surrounding them that makes Palworld the draw that it is. I’d even go as far as to say that the controversy and the subsequent coverage of it caused more people to pay attention to the game than they otherwise would have.

That’s

Not when you consider that it’s half the price and included with Game Pass. Seriously good for them on a successful game that people are enjoying, but it’s also a no brainer that people are more willing to give an interesting concept a chance when it’s $30 instead of $60.

This is awesome! Reminds me of how Google Lens works. Now that I think about it, you can probably use Google Lens as a Pokédex of sorts. lol

What this really makes me want is for them to finally do full remakes of the Adventure games and give them much-needed QOL upgrades to the mechanics while reworking the story by following the same story beats with better writing. I swear if I’m ever hired by Sonic Team, I’ll be petitioning for this until I’m fired for

Yeah, at least with Sword and Shield there was a significant improvement from the base game to the DLC. Which even brought some QoL improvements to the base game. Doesn’t seem like that’s the case with the DLC for Scarlet and Violet based on most reviews. I’m not going to buy either.

I don’t usually replay games, but I do like it when a new console can play games I haven’t finished from the old console.

Oh, this looks cu.... Nevermind. It’s exclusive to Apple Arcade.

Nowhere in my comment did I say it shouldn’t be an option. Only that it’s a weird reason to hate the modern games.

That’s not savings. That’s reimbursement, and yes there’s a difference.

This is one of the weirder reasons why people don’t like modern Pokémon games. With that said, you might not have to worry as much. They may have balanced this out with the new auto-battle feature in the wild and by cutting out mandatory trainer battles on routes. The auto-battles don’t give as much XP as when you

I’ve been saying this since a Kotaku article I read years ago said they should ditch the modern story for solely playing in the past.

Damn. Dude can actually sing. :D

“You’re not mean at all. That’s what’s dumb about that statement.”

I’ve said it a million times over the past few years: We need to quit mistaking politeness with kindness and goodness. Saying something horrible to someone in a nice way doesn’t negate the fact that the person said something horrible. It’s still mean,

Oh, for sure. A bit of something I didn’t mention was that this was also my response to PETA and fellow vegans I’ve met who thought the games were encouraging things like dog fighting. Essentially, I told them that wasn’t even close to the same thing, and they’d probably rather catch and train a Pokémon than just be

This was always my theory as to why people in the universe began to catch and train them. They were just so powerful that they had to in order to defend themselves and stabilize things.

And now all I want is for them to add a Kart mode for everyone to have fun with.

I always see these ‘mon games, and think “This is exactly what I would have made if I was a game dev at age 13.”

At my peak, I was running 5 miles (8.04672 km) a day. Some days, if I had felt so inclined, I could have continued easily to 10km. I was just a casual runner. A trained distance runner could easily do 10km a day.

The entire time I watched that first video, I kept expecting someone to say, “The City of Townsville!”
