Thanks, I missed this deal but it looks like it got restocked so i snatched it up. It's been on my wish list of games but just waiting for a deal and here it is. For that price I can probably play through it and sell it to someone for almost the money I paid for it :)

Apple is only popular because is it shiny and pretty and touts "user friendliness." It appeals to people who don't know much about actual computing, which admittedly is a lot of people. But they certainly aren't user friendly when you begin to know anything about file structures or access. It is about the most locked

Epic Adventures: La Jangada (full version) is free until the end of the month I believe.

There are foundations, Apple is not the diamond egg you and everyone thinks it is.

Because some people hate Apple and will never support it, that's one reason.

Maybe so, but you would think they would do market research ahead of time before announcing all their policies that they think the consumer would want and blah blah blah. It is single handedly the biggest marketing fiasco I have ever seen. You can't trust them because they don't even know what they are doing anymore.

I still don't know if I think it was the future. I still don't like the idea of an always connected machine. However, I think what they should have done was give you the option to always check in. Make is a feature but not standard. Or at the very least allow you to play games offline without having to check in. I

"No it's... man, it's hard to explain" should be Microsoft's Xbox One slogan :)

I guess I would call myself unbiased on this because I am not an Xbox fan at all and was never going to buy one no matter what they did. However, I watched all the news and conferences to see what they had to offer. I was not a fan of their DRM console, I did not like it one bit, again, I was never going to buy it

Well, I can see both sides of the argument. I still stand that I don't think their is a huge market for it on the phones/tablets. But I guess we'll see in the future. I just can't picture a scenario in my mind that would make me abandon my console and switch solely to tablet gaming, even if it hooked up to my TV for

I think you miss point, I know full well the tech could catch up to the consoles. And we could see ports or AAA games being developed for these devices. My point is that even if you do that I don't think the market is there for it. XCOM being ported is cool, but honestly if I had a choice to get it on a console or

Probably they are endorsing it and so it should be better I would presume. Some nonsense like that. I have played with controllers on android before and they aren't pretty. Unresponsive and certainly not ergonomic. This could have to do with the game not being developed with controllers in mind too or just shoddy

My point is I don't think the majority of console gamers would make that switch to abandon their consoles. I mean, we'll see how the future unfolds I just don't see it. Of course there may come a point that the tech catches up to be able to make these big games but that doesn't mean there will be a market for them.

I really don't disagree with much of what you're saying, its just that I don't see them getting console gamers to make the switch. I think there is a reason they are console gamers.

I guess we'll see, I just don't see console calibur games coming to the mobile platform unless they are ports of console games. I don't see anyone developing AAA games for these platforms, and if they do I don't see a market for it. I don't think console gamers will switch over to it.

They may have the power, but what I am submitting is they won't have the games, people want the console. They don't want the phone. The controller is going to be nothing compared to a console controller. And no one is going to be putting Assassin's creed or The Last of Us or Halo or whatever type of game on an iOS or

I understand it perfectly, I thought I spelled it out. I stated my viewpoints but I understand the casual market makes a ton of money, what I'm saying is that I don't think adding a controller to a phone is going to make console players go,"we should be playing on that because it has a controller now." I'm saying that

I don't understand why anyone thinks mobile gaming could ever be on the same playing field as console or PC gaming? Sure I play a few mobile games from time to time, but even if I had a controller to go with it the games just aren't of the same calibur as a console game, and frankly I am beginning to hate the free to

They are in the game now but I think they lost enough fans along the way. What does that say about the company, they can't even stand behind their product. Of course it's great they listened to the consumers, but they were sooooo dead set on it being the other way and now they backpeddle because they know they were

Well, I could understand your hesitation to enjoy it. If you didn't play it when it came out then you missed the nostalgia it created. It was the leap to 3D I think that had a big part of people's enjoyment. Sephiroth is one of the greatest villains ever created for any medium so that helped. The story was compelling
