For years now, the family of some of my distant cousins has gotten me a Blockbuster gift card for Christmas, and every year I go and manage to snag 3-4 great used movies or games for an insanely cheap price. Now, I'm afraid they'll go back to socks or something, they were always the kind of lame branch of our family

@GamerKT: BLASPHEMER! "Too much Fallout" is a thing that cannot be! Come on, you have "Gamer" in your handle, you should know better!

@GamerKT: "Head-over-heels", actually.

Gah, Worms Reloaded came out yesterday and I completely forgot about it! DAMN YOU LEAGUE OF LEGENDS, DAMN YOUUUU!

@PlaidNinja: It's a mythopoetic universe created entirely to sell toys and videogames. If you read any further into it than that, well....there's always actual social issues you could be devoting your time to. Go rage about American football, the sport of forcibly taking other people's land.

Whoa, a cop letting the point fly right over his head? NO WAY!

@Batman: Ouch, dude - that might mean it's time to find a new doctor.

@Sir_Bobalot: Ah, cool - the site lists it as "coming soon" and the place I got it from often has products out before the street date (shhh! It's a secret!) so I wasn't sure.

@Vamplosion: The overarching plot gets more interesting as the fights get less interesting.

@BustingLenin: Happens to the best of us, no worries.

@VincentGrey: You just described the best kind of bender, dude.

My week has been so awful, I had actually convinced myself that Wednesday night was Monday night. Friday is a pleasant surprise.

@battra92: I like the cut of your gib, sir. Personally I'd love some multi-cart Mega Man goodness, though that's probably me just jonesing for the Game Boy Mega Man Anniversary Collection that got canceled back in the day. Other than those, I'd love a straight-ROM port of River City Ransom, the NES port of Commando,

Man, I've had a hell of a rough week. Any other Kotakuites as happy as I am that it's finally Friday? I've got a buddy coming over from out of state, we're going to play games and drink until we have to go back to work on Monday.

@Fernando Jorge: It's great - I love the permanent invincibility buff (jumping on Goombas is such a pain sometimes! SOOOO nice to just run through 'em like a steamroller instead!). I just wish the star music would go away after a while, it's only like six seconds of melody looped on repeat forever.

@Izod517: To be fair, the first PSP and the Dreamcast were both stupidly, stupidly easy to hack, to the point where you didn't really need any special equipment for either. I mean, it's one thing if I ask someone not to break into my house, but it's another thing entirely if I leave all the windows open and all of my

@BustingLenin: Here, have some studies showing how wrong you are:

@PlaidNinja: Yes. That's what this show is about. Right.

@Azures: This is the most fallacious argument ever. People who pirate games generally wouldn't buy those same games. Costs have been going up absolutely ludicrous amounts, especially considering that the industry as a whole is exponentially bigger than it used to be. In fact, in some places (like Australia, where
