I’ve never experienced leftover mashed potatoes.

Genius. Every time we go out in the snow I know that we have basically lit a fuse until the moment that my 4 year old melts down about this very issue.

Titanfall 2 definitely belongs on this list. The combat gameplay was some of the most enjoyable and well done in the genre, but most of all the level design is probably in the top 3 of the decade (along with Dishonored 2 and not sure who else... Deus Ex...?)

Agreed! Both of the Deus Ex games of the past decade were excellent. I could never figure out why I had such a hard time “selling” them to my friends. Great stories and characters and they accomplish open ended gameplay styles better than most games out there, certainly better than their peers at the time.

I have to say, the Wheel of Time casting is making me intrigued.... Alvaro Morte will be an amazing Logain.

Am I the only one that noticed red baseball caps featured prominently in some of those clips towards the end?

I have no problem with a Black Captain America. I think it’s great. Why not?
What I don’t understand is how Falcon can take over Cap’s role. Given that he isn’t a supersoldier, is the mantle of “captain america” more of a symbolic role than a literal one?
I mean, with other heroes, when different people take over a

Interesting! Thanks!

I feel your pain! I was in the same boat. The one escape I had from this was that, in my mid-90s middle school existence, I somehow got a hold of a copy of a demo of a shareware Mac rpg called Realmz. It introduced me to all those D&D concepts. Not sure how my parents never caught on, since I spent hours on the demo

Glad to see X-Men Evolution getting some love. I always thought it was criminally underrated and overlooked. I discovered the show my freshman year of college and binged the whole thing in a weekend.

I wonder if they could just plan on dropping a surface lander on the “dark side” of the planet. Sounds like it would be years before it reached the blazing sunlight again, even more if it moves against the planet’s rotation.

What is the range of atmospheric temperatures that the probe would have to weather compared to the ones on the surface? Anyone know?

More habitable? Really? How? Not being sarcastic. Genuinely curious, because I always figured Martian temperatures, atmosphere, and weather would be much easier to deal with.

10 points (and my star) for the Jukt Micronics gag.
100 points of nostalgia for hearing someone talk about Marathon and Escape Velocity, both of which blew my mind back in the 90s.

I think anyone who has been a parent can sympathize. A lot of things that used to annoy me about kids and parenting changed once I had my own children and I realized how unfair it is to judge sometimes. That isn’t to say that there are some really terrible/inconsiderate parents out there, but I think that even the

I have mixed feelings about the shoes thing. One long flights, especially red eyes, I think it should be expected. But I think that if you know that you are the kind of person who takes off his shoes, then you should bring some slippers or something. That’s what I do. It’s more comfortable anyway. Those long flights

I misread that quote as “After squeezing one out...”

What airline are you flying? I travel internationally all the time and rarely do I see those kind of amenities anymore.

Are you taking short shuttle flights? Maybe those planes don’t have them. But I’ve never had a problem finding changing tables in airplanes, though most flights I do with my kids are on bigger, long distance aircraft. The trays drop down over the toilet space. Work very well.
