And the brain eating scene is brutal

I’ve been working my way through a bunch of horror movies this october, and I would like to recommend my favorite one of the month so far: The Ritual, on netflix. Genuinely creepy and one of the best monster designs I’ve seen in years. 

You’re crazy. That ending was brilliant and elevated the rest of the movie from being simply good to being great.

Surprised it took this long. It has been a few years since I last read the story, but I remember it being really good. 

“Linda the Policewoman” has got to be the worst television title of all time. 

Always glad to see Justin Long getting more roles. He’s underutilized and had great comic timing.

The first season was pretty good, if not a little far fetched. But Dormer alone was worth the price of admission and some of the set pieces were great.
Season two went way off the rails and became ridiculous, but almost to the point were it was almost good again. Dormer’s performance in that one is even more bananas…

Maybe, though another possibility is that those scenes with DeNiro were easier for Phoenix and therefore didn’t require him to go off and process. It’s a shame most people only know Richard Dormer from GOT. His character was fairly one-note and forgettable. His character on Fortitude, on the other hand, was straight up bananas and will forever be the one I associate with him. Now that the season is over, I need a list ranking the Into the Dark episodes from best to worst. I only saw one, the Pooka christmas one, and it was... fine, but didn’t compel me to watch any others.

Someone treated McGregor with the indifference and contempt that he deserves and his tiny ego couldn’t take the punch.
