I have a white 2006 macbook, and a 2009 aluminium one, just changed the drive for a momentus xt 500GB on both machines, it took less than 10 minutes, and nowthe 2009 one boots in under 15 secs. the drive is 99 usd remember older macbooks carry a 4200 rpm drive so its a big gain.

I think ps3 controllers works with most pcs with blutooth, don't know for sure since i don't game on my pc. but i know it detects them when searching for bluetooth devices.
