While it is my work setup, I am rocking a 24" 1080P extended display in conjunction with my 17" laptop screen to make multitasking easier. With the auto-sidedock windows key shortcuts in Windows7, I can side-bar 4 screens at once making report generation a breeze. While the difference in size and picture took some…
Yeah, I have a new harddrive in it, but I am not sure what the speed on it is. That has something to do with it too...
So far so good. The sad thing is our new smart TV has a built in netflix app and is already connected. Just different and thus is not worth the time to learn it. I have a FF12 save file that I am currently still working on Yizamat, about 1/3 life left and havent been able to get back to it. Not worth me starting over…
It wont install without your permission, but it will save the update file locally on the hard drive. You have to accept the update and "read" the EULA before it will actually update. I just do not want to have the update file saved on the system anymore.
I have never saw a delete update option, as generally that wouldnt make sense to build in that option. Would be nice though...
No apology necessary man. The interwebs are a dangerous place to only post half thoughts...haha.
I will try that when I get home. Does it give you the option to delete the update files if you find them? I would feel much safer knowing that the potentially damaging prompts will not pop up if my wife tries to watch netflix and clicks Ok by mistake.
I know it only downloads automatically, but I want to delete those files. I am not the only member of the household that uses the system and I dont want a notification to pop up saying you must update the system.
apparently we are just as Daft as you think we are. Also, you missed the point of my question. I know the update was downloaded already, however I do not want a potentially system bricking "update" loaded on my system. My wife uses the system for netflix and would probably not know the update is bad, had we not…
I know they pulled it, but not sure if my auto-download picked it up already.
So I unplugged the PS3 after I heard about the update that causes issues. I have not turned it on for fear that my PS+ autodownloaed update and upgraded hard drive are going to be at odds with one another.
I was out until late last night for work and did not have time to read up on this. I am sure my PS+ downloaded the update last night without me knowing. Is there anyway to delete it from the system without installing? I had the wife unplug the unit this morning after I left for work but I would really like to be able…
Check out GopherMods. They fixed my YLOD, upgraded my harddrive, transferred all save files, and sent it back within 2 weeks for a pretty reasonable price. My ol 60 GB phat is still kicking and they are the only ones who I found promise not to wipe your data. Will void the warrantee but I doubt that is an issue for…
I doubt it will happen, but I wish they would give our gil when you win at Blitzball in FFX. All I want to do is play BB, but the game doesnt give you money to keep your team in tact. Last playthrough I started, I kept all the original team (they are the cheapest) and have like a 48 and 0 record but I kept having to…
Highly recommend GopherMods for the repair. My kicked the bucket the day inFamous 2 launched. I had the brand new disk in my system and barely made it to the new city before it YLOD'ed and would not eject my disk.
small question on PS+ and I am coming back to this late in the game.
I am sorry and I will admit that the graphics look amazing but I still cannot get over the fact that the clothes do not move... I mean the shorts maintain a perfect half inch gap from the leg whether the player is standing upright or kicking...
You need the 48 box or bigger...
