You have not considered the bludgeoning that the occasional zone defense (2-3, 3-2, 1-3-1, Box-1, Triangle 2) would bring about. Is there any hope for other teams in that regard? My guess is no—someone would’ve tried it with more regularity by now—but I’m too lazy to think about why.
