My understanding is that Jonah’s only using the trilogy, because HBO owns the rights for just them for now. Guessing the first season would cover the first book, and if it goes well, HBO’d purchase the option for the rest of the series, so that S2 & beyond can tell the whole story, using the prequels & sequels as…
