Anyone heard if the disc version is going to be universal like some of their other games? What I mean by this is does the disc work for both Mac and Windows users.

@Lekor: It runs great on my MacBook at the lowest setting in Mac OS X. Looks nice but not amazing at these settings. Probably means it will run just as good on medium settings in Windows.

I wonder if they are going to start making less money on Avatar crap now that their only halfway meaningful Avatar experience has been canceled?

Hang gliding was my least favorite event in Pilotwings but it was still fun. I would love to see someone make a full on Pilotwings clone for the Xbox 360 though. Will check this one out for sure.

@TnOdyssey001: I agree about the SNES version since mode 7 games give me serious headaches now but the N64 one is still fun to play from time to time.

With one exception everyone on my Xbox Live Friends List is someone I know IRL. The one exception is the uncle of one of my friends because we used to play a lot of Modern Warfare as a group and I use the Friends Only audio setting.

I really hope they bring it back. Sadly I only got to play it on the final night it was running. I tried this out a while back and after losing my files twice to sync errors I ditched these apps as fast as I could. For some reason when the upstream sync failed it would then resync from the SimpleNote server which would erase anything I added since the last successful sync.

I can't decided between the SNES and the PS2. Both dominated my gaming in their time though I go back to SNES games more often now than I go back to PS2 games and my PS2 game collection is only like 6 games (down from around 30 at its height) while my SNES collection just recently hit 40 games.

I agree 100%. With the exception of the Wii I think the current hardware is more than adequate. I have zero interest in Kinect (and I don't own a Wii or PS3) but I do think it is the type of thing that can extend the lifespan of this generation.

I tried out the demo of Borderlands on OnLive and was somewhat impressed with its performance. It was totally playable IMHO and I didn't notice any major problems with lag (of course Borderlands is a bit slower aced game than UT3 and some others).

MS needs to hire some decent UI designers. NXE is ok but there are plenty of places it could be improved on and having to release an app like this to improve upon their improved NXE just proves that they don't have anyone in house that can do it right. Who knows maybe the third time will be the charm.
