@RykinPoe: Okay I thought of one way they could do WW2 setting (sort of) and make it interesting. Female Japanese assassin in Japan right after the war during the American occupation. You could disguise yourself as a geisha to steak into US controlled bases to kill corrupt American Colonels.

I like the idea of having a female lead and switching to a more modern setting, but not WW2. Anything but WW2. Even WW1 would be better. I actually think they should make the third game the last in the series and let Desmond be the star and do all the cool assassin/parkour stuff in the futuristic setting that his

I have avoided EA games for years. Unfortunately they published Black (which so needs a sequel) and Mass Effect and Army of Two and that sort of ruined years of hard work.

While Bioshock is somewhat over-rated (but still one of my top five games this generation) I think it did take game narrative to the next-generation. Would you kindly agree that the twist in that games was pretty freaking awesome?

This may be the closest thing we get to a Crimson Skies 2 so I hope it is decent.

This is really arrogant IMHO. True they really don't need a demo, but then again you wouldn't think Halo 3: ODST would need one either and yet I haven't bought it because I am tired of giving Microsoft my money only to be repeatedly disappointed by that series. A demo might have been able to change my mind.

Wonder if they will ever allow anyone to create a game expressly for the Games On Demand Service without requiring a disc based release as well. Would have been a good way for games like Raiden 4 to be released since they turned them down for arcade.

I would love to see them tackle a different genre or at least maybe a hybrid FPS / other genre game. I am very much looking forward to MW2, but I could very well lose interest if they do a third one in another two years.

I avoid this issue in games that allow me to play female characters by doing so. This way the view is much more attractive (best part of X-Blades probably).

@Mintyflesh: It also shows off the fast travel system: an airplane!

Maybe this has something to do with Polyphony Digital licensing NASCAR?

I don't care if it is an 8 gig download, I still think this game needs a demo in a bad way. If I have to wait to rent it then I probably won't bother with it until January or February of next year.

I can't believe that the Assassin's Creed Lonely Souls and the Prince of Persia Saeglopur trailers didn't make the first list. Two of the best video game trailers ever IMHO.

Hey Megan can we play doctor instead?

If this game was ramming Card's anti-gay sentiments down your throat then I could see boycotting it. As is he basically just wrote a novel in the same universe (a decent novel at that).

When I first heard about this (on another site) it sounded like new episodic content for Fable 2. Here it sounds like Fable 2 as an episodic game. If the first is the case then awesome. If the second is the case then WTF and why not just add Fable 2 to the Games On Demand? Guess they figure by breaking it up into one

@Kobun: Poor Advent Rising nobody loved you as much as you deserved. The game had many many many many many flaws but it has so much promises as well and amazingly even with all the game crashing bugs and design flaws it was really fun to play and had what could have been the best sci-fi story in a video game ever if

I would love to see Ninja Gaiden and Rygar released for the other services as well. Both could use some graphical upgrades to make them really awesome but even just well done ports would be great.

This is sad. I can't really see their downfall being their fault (other than bad choice of publishers to work with). Bionic Commando is actually decent (well decent when you only paid $20 for it) and I hear that Wanted is kind of fun (the demo didn't make the game seem terrible at least unlike the Bionic Commando

Now if only the same thing could happen to all the studio's making WWII games.
