Video Computer System by Golden Shower is way cooler:

@PlatformJunkie: The only thing more annoying than people who call the Atari 2600 4-bit are the people (some of them authors of text books for game designers) who like to refer to the previous generation of consoles as the 128-bit generation and the current generation as the 256-bit generation even though this is the

@vanillakokakola: Miner Dig Deep, Biology Battle, and In The Pit are some of my favorites. With a decent pair of headphones In The Pit is the most immerse game I have ever played.

@MurderDeathKill: Did you sleep through the release of The Dishwasher?

@Jus in melancholy: This game could be starring the Smurfs and I would still play it, because it looks awesome.

Holy shit this looks amazing. I hope they get to turn it into an Xbox Live Arcade titles because this is worth way more than the 400 point limit on the Indie Games.

Surely the Spartan Laser could get it done a bit faster.

@SG79: You are missing the point. The Cell chip was designed to be a secondary processing unit not a primary CPU like it is being used as in the PS3.

@okenny : ) ...building bridges (to hide under): Ah. Well then it is probably even more of a bitch to program than I thought.

The only place that I have seen that packaging for the Billy Bucks is at GameStop. Most other places they sell simple cards like the PSN one.

@-MasterDex-: I'm willing to bet that the older pics weren't rendered in real-time (no matter what they claimed) while the newer ones were. Between that and tweaks to the models since then (check out the thinner face and pointier chin on the first pair) these differences are nothing to have a cow over, the game still

Other than the bank robbery scene I don't know that much else of the movie really lends itself to a game. It could be a pretty intense game if done right. I think a developer like Infinity Ward could pull it off. Gearbox is also a decent choice.

They need to start pimping that Shadowrun IP out to some quality developers like Bioware, Bethesda, Obsidion, or even Id (I am about to ruin my pants just thinking about Shadowrun made in the Id Tech 5 engine). Get that bitch in a mini-skirt and stripper heals and out on the corner!

@Placentasaurus: This is what I am wondering as well. Be really sweet if they had the balls to do the uncensored version for the consoles as well, but I won't be holding my breath for that.

Sadly from what I understand of the design of the chip in the PS3 the issues making PS3 development harder than PC or 360 can't really be fixed. All the extra power of the extra cores is just a major pain to get to since developers can't access the specialized cores directly and said cores don't have direct access to

This is what they get for releasing such a piss poor demo.

This is one of the best things that could happen to this game. I am interested in it but with all the high quality titles coming out this fall it would have gotten forgotten until the spring anyway. A few extra months to polish it up cant be a bad thing either.

@SMDoles: Amen. This and 'Spolsion Man are pretty much the only Summer of Arcade titles I am looking forward to this year and for me this was the most exciting game announced at E3 this year.

I really hope this game inspires more developers to take a look at this genre for non-handheld releases and even just side-scrollers in general.

You know just because the first The Darkness was a FPS doesn't mean this one will be. I always thought FPS was an odd choice for this IP. Something similar to Prototype would be a better fit probably. Instead of driving tanks you need a Ferrari.
