As someone who has worked and commuted during the entire pandemic, I can’t tell a difference. I see the same amount of people crossing lines, not signaling, hogging the left lane, speeding ,and tailgating as there’s always been.
Sorry Liz, but Chris is wrong. Engines are designed to run on the recommended octane rating, no more no less. Getting premium gas when the engine doesn’t call for it is simply a waste of money and yields little, if any, benefits.
A religion is just a cult that outlasted the other cults.
College Republicans
I knowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
I just work in IT and want to stop being treated like I’m useless. We make sure the company stays up and running, and that everyone can do their job, and we don’t even get invited to the holiday parties.
Everything works except the AC? That’s all you need to know.
As a man who has had periods in his life when the AC was broken, let me tell you exactly what that means: “I am so poor, I cannot maintain this car. I have let every piece of this car wear out, even the parts that separate man from beast. The tires are worn…
I’d jump at the chance to buy a halfway decent 80 series for $7k. This is not halfway decent.
The lamentations of the edgelord whisperer.
I can’t stand Joe Rogan. Someone asking me if I listen to his podcast is a giant fucking red flag.
Imagine being a 53-year old multi-millionaire crying this much about the culture. Imagine moving through the world and being so very hurt by this stuff. Walking around your giant compound, chartering a private jet, all the staff buzzing around you as they clean your toilet and maintain your pool. Jesus what a fucking…
JFC there's a reason no one laughs at Al Jolson anymore. If you can't get with the times, maybe you're bad at your job.
The business class quivers in fear at the thought of a future generation that isn’t doomed to poverty by birth, and not forced to accept whatever meager wages are offered in order to survive.
At my first real job, I was obviously eager to prove I was capable and reliable. So I would jump in to volunteer for all the extra projects and late hours. I made friends with a guy a few years older than me who had worked there for a number of years. We were talking in the breakroom one day and I was griping about…
Good, glad they aren’t saying abortion. You say abortion and idiots just shut the fuck down and start screaming “THINK OF THE BABIES”. You mention reproductive healthcare and people are much more likely to listen.
The counter-point to this is a Republican fundraising ad that’s just a supercut of every administration member saying the word “abortion”. If you’re explaining, you’re losing. Why give ammo to the right when you can instead make the clear, true, and important point that attacks on abortion rights are attacks on…
I was hired into a new job during the pandemic and can definitely say I’ve adjusted poorly to the new work culture (my boss is very adamant that work be a “family” and I respectfully disagree lol). I’m a stickler for boundaries, take my breaks and my lunch and log out after my 8 hrs and am no longer available. During…
I feel that would be the case if it wasn’t a statue of Marilyn Monroe who might have been the most hyper-sexualized celebrity ever and the scene that the statue is referencing was (for it’s time) one of the most hyper-sexualized scenes ever.
He’s like a shock jock in persona.
I think it’s just the look tho, his talk isn’t really that douchy. Very “everything is awesome” sorta vibe which is annoying in it’s own right, but not actually a bad thing 99% of the time.
