You can find this problem in every small town. Do they support their neighbor who opens a small shop? Will they pay more for quality? Nope. They’ll drive past closed store fronts to go to a wal-mart and save $2. We did this to ourselves.

I don’t know if it’s fair to end it’s story with the ghost town reference. Sure, nobody lives there, but it’s literally surrounded by successful farms and farming communities.

This seems to be a huge problem all over. In our quest to get things as cheap as possible, we forgot to make them last... I blame consumers the most. You gotta be willing to pay more. (within reason of course)
