Durarara!! also takes place within the more gritty, crime-ridden aspects of Tokyo (it’s actually the theme of the entire show), and like this movie it also deals in the supernatural. I suppose it doesn’t take itself as seriously, but these sort of themes have definitely been explored before, albeit not very often.

You know, CRTs with HDMI inputs do exist. Most of them are from the mid to late 2000s, right at the beginning of the HD era (before it was mainstream). Some have true HD resolutions and support up to 1080i, some are just “HD ready” and will accept digital signals. Some are 4:3, some 16:9. And they aren’t too hard to

We’re talking about a center-right person (at most), who detests Trump and his rhetoric so much that he left the Republican party over it. Is anyone even remotely conservative considered too controversial to participate in the gaming community these days? That’s deeply troubling to me if it is indeed the case.

That’s not the point here. Colin said repeatedly that he doesn’t believe he’s owed a platform, and that he’s happy to stay away from where he’s not welcome. The problem is that they gave him a panel, very clearly told him it was okay to advertise to his fans that he’d be there, and then took it away AFTER him and a

Yeah, Game of Thrones really fell apart with these last few episodes. It’s obvious Weiss and Benioff just didn’t know where to take the series on their own. It feels like the story is just coasting to a slow and uneventful ending. I hope I’m wrong (there are still two more episodes as I write this), but it isn’t

The Steam page says that it requires an Xbox Live account for multiplayer, so there you go.

What’s really too bad is that while some of these characters would definitely benefit from a re-cast, others definitely wouldn’t. I’m thinking of Fox’s Quicksilver specifically, which is just fantastic. But I highly doubt Marvel will opt to keep some and throw others out, so in the end the good will end up going out

They make a mighty fine case for traditional 2D animation in general. Why western studios have all but abandoned the medium is beyond me, it’s obvious that some really creative and beautiful work can be done with it.

Microsoft probably wasn’t going to let them do anything besides Halo, which is why they started 343 for the single purpose of cranking out more Halo games. Bungie wanted to move on, so I get it.

It’s not baffling. Microsoft botched the launch of their console, Sony didn’t. Sony has some of the best exclusive titles we’ve seen this generation, Microsoft doesn’t. That’s really it.

I feel like “cord cutting” is becoming somewhat of a joke. All of the same companies that operated the cable TV we “cut” have already launched streaming or online TV services that we’re lining up to pay for. And by the time we’re subscribed to all the different services we want in order to watch everyone we want to

I actually think the increased speed of the flash memory makes it worth it, though. And with all those thunderbolt 3 ports, adding fast external storage should be pretty easy as well.

I honestly believe the overzealous amount of troops being sent (way more than they’d need if they just wanted to defend the border) is meant to scare off the caravan before it gets anywhere near here. The White House knows damn well that images of troops fighting off asylum-seekers would be a PR nightmare, 10x worse

There are two additional USB ports on the back of the Wii U, he could’ve just plugged the second adapter in that way. But I suppose a custom 8-port adapter is more fun, can’t really blame the guy.

No. Because Nintendo.

Better, possibly bigger screen (same overall body size with smaller bezels), longer battery life, more storage, all the usual stuff. And hopefully a better kickstand. I would say make it thinner, but then they’d have to redesign the joy-cons, and that isn’t worth it.

I replaced the HDD in my 2014 Mac Mini with an SSD (which was stupidly difficult for such a simple task) before upgrading to Mojave, and it runs like a dream. It didn’t even run High Sierra too well on the old hard drive, now it feels like a new machine again. I’m pretty sure the sluggish performance people are

Apple is the Disney of the tech world. What’s considered acceptable for other companies is off-limits for them. They have a pristine image to keep up, its apart of their brand, and it’s worked really well for them so far. I get why Tim Cook would be hesitant to mess with that.

The PS3's custom cell processor is probably incredibly difficult to emulate. And even if its technically possible to emulate those games, I doubt the PS4 has the horsepower to support it. The Xbox One can emulate the 360 because it ran on a fairly standard IBM PowerPC chip, which is also why it was much easier to

The PS4 runs on x86 AMD processors, getting the games to run on a PC shouldn’t be too difficult at all. But I absolutely don’t expect Sony to do it.
