aside from the first season-ish, this show has been simply some of the best television, let alone genre television, let alone star wars content that’s been made. for me CW, mando, TLJ and R1 show how good star wars can be when you let actual auteurs near it, instead of the confusion of Lucas’ prequels and the pablum

I wish anybody in our fucked up, constantly-on-defense culture of 2019 had a long enough memory to remember that when Chappelle did pretty much what he’s doing now on his show, it was like a healing thing for the country. Successfully or not - you be the judge - it seems to me his aim has always been to find that

He made a good point. Guess it struck a nerve.

I’ve been waiting for the Schreier breakdown of how this fell apart far more than the game itself.

I think there’s too much fixation on lap times. All the aspects that result in Indy cars being slower is also what makes them more competitive and entertaining to watch.

Imagine a Westworld-style Star Wars park (preferably without the rape and torture). I’m salivating at the very thought.

You guys need to workshop a new condescending headline format, this one is pretty tired.

Not like LucasArts’ final decade was much better! Star Wars is just cursed. Disney should do what it does with Marvel and hand it out to as many developers as possible.

Hopefully tomorrow. EA has done fuck all with the license save for two mediocre Battlefront games, one of which caused major waves through the industry (and not in a good way).

I...wow.

I’m glad some folks are enjoying this game; everyone has their somewhere they want to be, and that somewhere doesn’t work for other folks—and that’s fine. I enjoy a great many things others think are a waste of time.

This whole kerfuffle, though, comes off as one giant kettle of “we coasted way too hard on a

It’s not racist to have majority white staff. And it’s not sexist to have all male directors. Now, it is racist not to hire people of color because of their color and vice versa for people of different sex. I don’t necessarily agree with Rife’s logic here, but if we could make a list of talented amateur pop culture

Good for her. Fuck the trolls. The casino sequence was still wack, but that’s not her fault.

I always hoped that someday, there will be a sequel panel to that strip where the caption reads “200 years later” and a guy in an environ suit picks up the rover and goes “You did good, buddy. You’re going home.” And there’s a dome in the background with green stuff in it.

I mean, it was a line that wasn’t really given the time or resources to succeed and given up on way too early, if that isn’t fitting for a ‘millennial beer’ then I don’t know what is. Only way it could be more millennial is if they decided to let the unsold inventory hang out in Budweisers basement indefinitely.

Sure was nice to have a president with such large hands.
