It’s not just about being “outspoken” and “confident”: she’s kind of an asshole. She’s said awful things about other competitors and eschews basic gestures of respect like touching gloves. I think the way she’s handled her losses compared to other “cocky” fighters like Conor McGreggor speaks volumes about her tbh.

I think a lot of it comes from the fact that she is not only cocky, but at times a bad sport. Her refusing to shake Miesha Tate’s hand after their fight really solidified my dislike for her. I was at the UFC event in Melbourne when she lost to Holly Holm and cheered her loss along with everyone else in the crowd

That argument might hold a bit of water if all the female MMA fighters were that way.

Dog is not fancy enough.

Say what you want about Colin Kaepernick, but when he made an overt political statement, he answered questions about it. Hell, since “balance” is so important, I’ll say even old Curt Schilling is willing to engage criticism about his expressed political beliefs.

Go Falcons.

“Go watch the ‘93 Finals when John Paxson hit the shot,” James said. “Barkley and Jordan were laughing and joking with each other during one of the games while somebody’s shooting a free throw. In the Finals. But, oh, nobody were friends back then.”

That may be so but Catholic hosts were raised to be eaten.

Was this a graduate program in borderline impolite stories of uneventful tedium?

“...Oh, this would have been a much better excuse.”

You people that do shit outside are out of your minds.

Careful, Dan, otherwise you might lose your ESPY vote, too!

I love Dan and hope he enjoys his week off.

This is Trump. Unlike Nero, I’m fairly certain he can’t play the fiddle.
