I am glad that I sometimes read the reviews of shows I don't watch (but am often told I should), because I totally would've missed Oliver's mentioning of Kripke's speech impediment; I find myself compelled to, indirectly, come to the defense of this show - Kripke and his speech impediment could actually be the first

Because I feel a desperate need to justify my philosophy degree, I am compelled to point out that it's very clear Reese and Fitch are not moral relativists.

There is no way that Benjamin Linus could be considered chaotic neutral.

I don't know, I never knew the guy, hence the "apocryphal".

The apocryphal tale is that Bob Kane, the man who created Batman, also thought Val Kilmer was the best portrayal of Bruce Wayne; although he died before getting to see Christian Bale so maybe he would've changed his mind.

The Illnesses Mentioned
"…it's a little sloppy that the solution to his made-up illness was another made-up illness which happened to have the exact same symptoms as the first one."

Yes, duh, everyone realized that, and I would've realized that too if I tried to read more carefully through the first time around.

Halloween Costume
I am going to go back and make sure but I thought Archer's boyhood Halloween costume was Charlie Chaplin and that he and his mother keep mistaking it for Hitler is the gag.
