Seriously though, I'm so confused. I thought it was just Ira that was her source, I thought it was super obvious but now I feel like I'm missing something

Is it not just Ira?

This show has always been so thematically focused on personal faith. Everyone had their own story, their own belief that they needed to forge and hold on to. Everyone had their own truths.

I don't think they were ignored. I personally thought ep.7 did a great job of wrapping up that aspect. Similar to Nora's ending, The Book of Kevin is up for interpretation.

No one at HBO cut this show loose. It was a creative decision to end here

I thought I saw her biting her lip at him sometime around the 'wanna know what I wished for' line that also felt somewhat promiscuous

Big little lies should fall under limited series though

If you think about it, he does die in the end. Just off screen. He said when he thought the 'prank' was true that he would kill himself, and combined with Suzanne and Erik leaving, there's like no way he didn't do it afterwards

Glad someone else thought Philips stalker disguise looked like his EST teacher. Also, best acting of bad acting in a while with Liz's 'clearly not really that into it' oral scene

I could see how the entire Madeline character could've been a lot more boring if it weren't for that, although it does really go nowhere and was a bit cliché. I bet they could've had enough drama with Ed and Nathan without the classic Steady Eddy routine

Hmm, interesting. That detail would've made it at least plausible

I agree, the Madeline plot was a little unnecessary. I guess it's what got her and Jane out on that balcony? But I mean, series finishes, she's still clearly pretty unhappy with Ed and they've got some shit to sort out…
The show was leading us to the Perry conclusion on purpose. The show has been pretty forward facing

Wow. That ending. The mess of the fight cut with the waves crashing against the rocks. Bonnie's scream cutting the music and ending the silence was amazing. Spontaneously errupted in tears. So beautifully done.
The fact that all of the women were there was amazing. Powerful. Bonnie coming out of nowhere to finish the

Really not cool

Wait.. Did you just spoil the ending?

I really hope that wasn't as obvious of a spoiler as it seems.. ?

On another note, awesome musical cues in this show, albeit a little too on the nose sometimes (ie Ziggy singing to Jane). They seem to have some agenda of pushing good music onto viewers, what with showing names of songs like Alabama Shakes on the radio or the repeated use of Leon Bridges. Now St. Paul and the Broken

Am I the only one who would be disappointed if the Perry and Jane theory turns out to be true? Haven't read the book but this show seems too smart for that cheap, easy finish. The whole thing has been so relatable and real that if it turned out the one place Jane went was where Ziggy's father now lived, it would just

Beetlejuice anyone?
This show continues to be visually stunning with almost every scene. Aubrey Plaza is magnetic and Dan Stevens has lead me to believe he might be able to pull off a Maslany. Hadn't scene him in much before, yet to watch the guest, but his role in high maintenance was the furthest thing from his role

I watched this episode with surround sound headphones on and realized that, during the conversation between David and Syd on the dock, specifically Syd's bit about the soul, her voice gets ever so slightly overlapped by the deep, demonic voice that later overlaps his father during the Angriest Boy reading on
