Mid-Dec I had experienced what felt like the worst flu in a long while but tests showed it wasn’t the flu. Couldn’t really sleep and had a heck of an elevated heart rate while resting throughout accompanied by fever and feeling like I was dragged under a semi. Shortly after recovering I had chest pain that put me in

Had a positive test come back in early August after a negative one in late July (about five days apart, different docs and testing centers). Started with what I thought was just sinusitis or a sinus infection - the dryness, swelling, the cough-that-could-be-post-nasal-drip. Was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about eight

I got some bad news for you...you’re dead too.

First, my sympathies. I was down with COVID-19 for almost 10 days. Days 5-9 are a blur to me where I could barely keep my breath crossing the house to use the bathroom.

It was the first time in my life where I was too sick to even think about playing video games. I just...couldn’t. They’ve always been a source of

The fact that 277,000 dead Americans later we are still struggling to convince people that COVID is “real” depresses the shit out of me.

One of COVID-19's side effects, found in 7 to 17% of those who get it (source: a recent video posted on the SciShow YouTube channel), is “acute myocarditis”, or inflammation of the heart tissue.

One of my idiot coworkers was claiming a friend of a friend was killed in a drive by shooting and the hospital listed his death as covid-19. These people will believe anything that fits into the worldview they want to have without any evidence, and no amount of evidence will convince them otherwise.

I know I'm morally wrong for this, but fuck it. If these deniers suffer mightily and die, I'm not crushed. I have people I care about on the front lines, and their lives have been pure chaos since March, but there's still a staggering number of Covid deniers and freedom lovers who don't make it any easier.

As a mechanical engineer, it never ceases to amaze me what we are able to engineer together. This is one of the most metal things I’ve ever seen.

The White Chrises are a category of their own! But yeah, Chris Brown would def top a list of the worst... Chrises of Color lol

but deliberately omitted the Vice President because it was occupied by Thomas Jefferson?”

My female friends hate it when they walk by a construction site and the workers there yell things like, “Hey, did you know that Adams passed the sedition Act of 1798 that prohibited the publication of false, scandalous, and malicious writing about the President and Congress, but deliberately omitted the Vice

Pickup truck!

What’s it called?

You really want people who tend to not pay attention and just stare at their mobile phones to have jetpacks?

If it makes you feel better, he’s probably got 15 fewer interceptions than Jameis would have by this point.

Exactly. No winners to be found. Dining out while other cities in Texas are having to do refrigerator trucks to deal with the overflow of dead bodies? Not even an attempt to space out the tables. It’s so easy to believe that only the MAGAts aren’t taking this seriously enough but plenty of our folks are gonna play them

People still don’t get it; it’s a pandemic - what are you doing eating out in close quarters like this, acting as if you can’t get sick, get others sick, and die?

I kept looking down at the dates of these videos just to make sure this happened now and not in 2019. And in Dallas too, jfc. Team No One for real.

Team No One. Not one. No masks, no social distancing, that turtleneck, that TI-like monologue, the whole damn mixed message of the restaurant, annoying brunch twitter,  and why would I want to watch someone with a heavy filter and a dizzy stars halo chewing with a mouf full of food?
