Christian Bales episode had nothing to do with method acting. What the cinematographer did in that instance completely screwed the shot, and everyone I’ve heard weigh in on it, other actors as well as crew members, said he (the crew member) was totally in the wrong. 

Just want to comment that I have heard on a few podcasts featuring hollywood industry people that the cinematographer Bale screamed at is a notorious asshole.

re-read the article, paying attention to tone. 

people keep saying this, but as someone who works pretty closely with high school students: they looked fine. the only person who didn’t seem believable as the age they’re supposed to be playing is charlie heaton
