I just don’t know if killing off characters is the best way to get around them appearing onscreen if your movie is all about ghosts...

Kynes has almost no change related to the role that the character plays, so this is a bizarre take. The idea that Kynes is “the Elephant in the room” is totally absurd... the gender swap had incredibly little impact on the movie.

I’m going to guess there really is no alien spider?

I am puzzled by the lack of mention of Alia Atreides in all of the marketing, released footage, reviews, and even cast information. Just an “unborn child” is briefly mentioned here, it makes me wonder if her role was dramatically lessened in the movie.

A Texas/California alliance is one of the most outlandish SciFi premises I’ve ever heard of, so I think it’s safe to classify it that way. The premise should really be Coastal states vs Middle America, but I guess allying Texas and CA in the story will prevent a lot of the criticisms from partisan hacks on both sides

When and why did all of this Hollow Earth scifi mythology stuff take over and ruin the narrative of the Monsterverse? Using undiscovered underground areas as an excuse for monsters going unnoticed in Kong: Skull Island was okay. But now it has taken the oxygen out of these movies. I want a movie about these classic

No, the three young ladies are not going to become Spider-Women, because if there is any justice or goodness left in the world, this whole thing will be brushed aside and forgotten.

What an awful and inexplicable article to force into a slideshow format. This site truly has become total trash.

I enjoyed the first Aquaman, but everything bad about it is cranked up a few notches in the sequel. Too campy, with lame jokes, eye roll-inducing musical stings, Toretto-esque family talk, and Black Manta dressing up his minions in his volcano base lair like aliens in a Showa era Godzilla movie. It wants to be a

This feels like the most abandoned, DOA major blockbuster of all time. The marketing is incredibly half hearted, all of the buzz surrounding it is about how it’s not part of the DC movie universe moving forward. It feels more like a funeral for the DCEU than celebrating a movie launch. I’ll definitely be seeing it,

I believe he has said repeatedly that his third Dune film would be covering both Dune Messiah and Children of Dune

A “quadragenarian” is someone in their 40s... Godzilla has been around since 1954. Nearly 70 years.

Secret Invasion was just straight up bad. If the buzz was good surrounding the show, people would have tuned in for Samuel L Jackson.

Daredevil sighting at 1:27.

I get that franchises and IP are the key to getting anything made now, but “Kingdom Of The Apes” would be a much simpler, catchier, easier to say and remember title for this movie. And I think everyone would still know it was a new Planet Of The Apes movie.

My god, that movie still is giving me a nauseous memory of seeing the absolutely terrible visual effects from the Flash in the theater. Bad “stylistic” speed force excuses aside, the glimpses into other worlds were like Playstation 1 graphics.

I never really thought about it before, but I always considered Logan A possible future story, not necessarily THE destined endpoint of all Fox X-Men storylines and characters. It’s pretty depressing if essentially all of he other movies didn’t really matter, all of the X-Men and related characters are dead, and

What a dumb choice. The only people this means anything at all to are the very same people that it is annoying to. Congrats.

Definitely feels like striking while the iron is ice cold. The game’s peak of relevance and popularity was maybe 8 years ago, it feels like we are at least 5 years past when this should have come out. As you say, multiple imitator movies have already come and gone.

I’ve given up on The Winds of Winter... even if it comes out, it’s book 6 of 7. It isn’t the final chapter in the series. Given the struggle to write the second to last book, I really don’t think there’s hope the series will get finished.
