The horror.
The movie that made me fell in love with Studio Ghibli. First it reminded my of the Last Unicorn, another of my most beloved fantasy films, but it felt more like an actual adventure and had a very distinctive kind of magic in his mood.
Since your mind is on anime at the moment... best anime fantasy movie?
This is not my favorite fantasy movie. But, I would argue that it is the most believed fantasy in history.
Not even one person posted Highlander!? how sad.
Light Years! Its more fantasy than Sci-fi isn't it?
For a more serious answer, The Sword in the Stone is probably the first, or if not one of the earliest, fantasy movies I saw as a kid and remains a favorite.
Muy Caliente Busty Latinas!
did I miss something, or has this realy not been posted?
I mean, covered were my other favs: Labyrinth, Legend, Beastmaster, Conan, the Princess Bride, Krull, Dragonslayer, Ladyhawke, LOTR, Time Bandits, etc but no lover for this classic?
No argument, its always going to be Labyrinth
Magic, Angels of Death, Drowning Charioteers and Golden Cow Worshippers, FTW!
So many good ones, can't pick just one. I +1 Legend, Labyrinth, and Krull.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone...I know it's not most people's favorite, but for me, from our introduction to diagon alley, to platform 9 3/4, to the magical holiday feasts at hogwart's, to quidditch, and everything else in between, it's the type of movie that not only gives you goosebumps, but also makes you…
The Dark Crystal hands down.
Best ever? I have to defer to Princess Bride there, but this one is a personal favourite.
I do believe this counts.
