@David Billiter: My favorite steak's a medium cooked prime rib eye about an inch thick with the bone still on. The area around the bone actually tastes better to me after BBQ'ing it.

@operator207: My only problem with synergy is I could never get the ctrl-alt-delete signal to send properly. Our computers group policy locks them after 30 minutes. I've ended up just using two monitors and VNC from my main PC.

You can do this without buying the Deep water bath. Loosen the screw on the drain. Turn it until the hole on the bottom faces the top. Tighten the screw.

@tjazar: I just did this with a couple .avi files didn't work. It made one large file which only had the first file encoded.

I wonder if Apple would have the same legal problems banning browsers on their smart phone OS as microsoft would if they banned non MSIE webbrowsers from say Windows 7.

@battra92: I have no issues with this. If you don't tell them why something happened they'll just do it (or something similar) again. You're not helping them by lying. In the end who cares it's just a computer and people make mistakes. They'll get over it.

Crappy Mint is only for US users. Can't even use it without syncing it to a US bank account.

I found a couple of the books I needed on Mininova in .pdf form. They were all write protected by you can get a 15 day trial version of A-PDF restrictions remover. [a-pdf.com] It let me print them double sided at work. Cost me about 10$ in paper binders for $300 in books.

I was sitting in court in Calgary fighting an expired registration ticket which I won because the registry recorded the wrong date on my paperwork. Anyway several people were fighting speeding tickets and the officer didn't show for "health" reasons. The judge only dismissed one of the three tickets. The other two…

IE 7. We're testing IE 8 but it doesn't work with some of our applications. Chrome, Firefox do not work with any of our apps. The developers aren't updating them either. On my machine I also run Firefox and love it but our average users don't have the install rights.

That's so sweet. I've been using VMworkstation to run legacy programs. Now Windows 7 will have it built in. Can't wait.
