Not necessarily...there are plenty of used cars that aren’t manufacturer certified that are good buys. But if you are going to pay a premium for a CPO car, it’s better to get a manufacturer CPO.

“I hate to be that person”
Well Brian, since 87% of petroleum is used for fuel, how much of a dent will EVs make?
I’m going to toss some inconvenient facts out there for you.
Ehhh....will it hurt? Sure. But it’s not the death knell these people are claiming. There will still be a broad vast market for petroleum based products. You’d be surprised how many people don’t realize plastic is a petroleum derivative. There will be a consolidation in the oil market, and then a lot of these oil…
Prune Juice is a Warrior’s Drink.
For me it is 100% calories in vs calories out.
It’s the correct answer because your car isn’t omnicient. Will running into that bridge abutment instead of that daisy-chain of kindergardeners bring down the structurally deficient freeway overpass, killing the children and bunch of other people too? Will steering off the side of the bridge to avoid a bunch of…
It sounds heartless, but the only correct answer is the one that Mercedes gave. Would any of us give up control to a car that doesn’t prioritize the survivability of its occupants over anything else? I sure as hell wouldn’t. The car isn’t making a choice to kill those orphans, it’s making a choice not to kill you.…

I would kinda disagree with the thesis here. While I think the 787 is an engineering marvel and massive advancement for aviation, I think it’s nothing more than a trend of making smaller more efficient airplanes at the cost of passenger comfort and limited choice. The real plane they should be comparing here is not…
The next time you get a side-eye for what you purchased, just remember: Ms. Judgemental is a fucking cashier.
He was totally Hufflepuffing something illegal.
Thanks for the viewpoint from someone who actually lives there. I’ve never spent more than two weeks in Singapore at any one time, and living in a hotel on company expenses is not the same as trying to organise family life from your own home at all. Our allowances are generous but I still feel significantly poorer…
It’s not just an issue of irresponsible people thinking “I’ve got time to get groceries.” Obviously warnings won’t fix those people.
It all depends on how well you know the big ticket item and how comfortable you are doing your diagnostics and ordering replacement parts from repair clinic or amazon or some online vendor.
at $1,800 it’s an investment
I tried their “free 30 minutes” of streaming. Loved it! Action. No commentary. Whatever event you want. Great app!
