It is absolutely dangerous. The potential for endless growth is a total myth, and it is mind-blowing that so many supposedly “smart” people in the business sector continue to buy into this lie.

I predict you will end up buying this car back from your landlord when it breaks. Or you could just find a new place to live now.
With that kind of attitude from Rio’s mayor, I doubt that Australia, the UK, or New Zealand will share their common wealth with him.
Yes there are. The idea that a city has to build every facility from the ground up is totally assanine. The idea that the games has to be consolidated into one place is assanine. There are facilities ready to go across the US that can host the games adequately with no need for new construction. Same with many other…
I grew up eating homemade Indian roti and think they’re great and all, but man, I would take a buttery, simultaneously-flaky-and-chewy Singaporean or Malaysian roti prata over an Indian roti any day of the week. We tend to keep roti prata in our freezer instead of roti, because they go just as nicely with Indian food…
The “Roti Prata” you’re talking about is a South Asian bread called Paratha. Roti is a generic name for flat breads like Paratha, Chapati, Naan etc. You can get the “flat-disk” like frozen Parathas at any Indian grocery store (and there are quite a few of them in Houston). They come in 10-packs, 20-packs and even…
Furthermore, while your prepayments save you money on interest by building equity faster, they give you no other advantages.

If the money was ACTUALLY free, then the car manufacturer would collapse.
Zero percent interest is not a car manufacturer acting benevolent, even though that is what their sales and marketing people want you to believe.
It’s just a way to get you to pay the interest up front.
Why continue to fall for 0% interest is…
The fullest disclosure here would entail telling people where he drove it.
I’m in the odd position of loving HamNo’s writing while disagreeing with him on nearly every thought that flies from that truly impressive cranium of his. (All his articles, not just this one)
Because ultimately those agencies arent a legitimate role of government and should be done away with. TSA screening should be done by the airlines themselves, not a .gov agency. I would elect people to do away with it. I was against it then and now. cut funding, change legislation to get rid of requirements to fo the…
Let’s play a game: If a red key unlocks the maximum potential of a given car’s best feature, imagine if every car had a red key...
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, many “emergencies” aren’t. Things like auto repairs, irregular payments (homeowners insurance, car registration, etc.) are predictable. Yes, true emergencies occur, but many expenses can be planned for.
Instantly suspicious. Don’t put your name in 48pt font, don’t put your DOB, don’t put your picture, don’t put your “personal philosophy” or personal blog — anything that could give an employer a reason to disqualify you ... but most importantly, don’t pad your resume with auto-generated text from a default template.
Battery warranty is 8 years / 100k miles.
Cost for a replacement has been all over the place. I’ve seen GM dealers offering replacement batteries for $2200 and then the same dealer offering them later for $7000. MSRP has fluctuated wildly, too.
The battery warranty is 100,000 miles. It is liquid cooled and like a Prius isn't ever fully discharged. So there isn't a lot of stress placed on it . Overheating is what kills batteries so that's why the batteries in cars like the Prius and volt last so long.
