The AE86 is actually difficult to drift. It’s lightweight and underpowered. This is not an easy recipe to break traction and it takes big cajones to drive them well, especially when configured with sticky racing tires. It had a successful track racing career as well and I love watching these things get hurled into

Girls don’t like guys who drive Jeeps. They just like the Jeep because they want to drive it themselves. Seriously, so many women these days either own or want to own a Jeep. they’re “cute” in their eyes.

Honestly, about a third of the Jeeps I see in SoCal are driven by women. New Jeeps, old Jeeps, don’t matter.

Some people shit kittens when you do an engine swap from a different model of the same brand or a later generation engine. To each their own I say.

Cool cars! Let us know when you drive one, I’m interested to hear about the experience.

Why would someone in Japan want an American car when they are making better cars? Dealership models aside, but American cars really have no place outside of the USA. Half of American cars sold in the USA are sold on blind patriotism, the rest are new Fords as the ROW Fords that we now get are actually good cars..

Don’t buy the damn minivan. As a father myself, I refuse to give in. To me, minivans are synonymous with giving up on fun, and having an enjoyable car to drive to work is worth the fact that yes, a minivan would be objectively better for people-hauling.

Besides, his family may already have a large people-hauler for

Came for this, leaving satisfied.

absolutely hideous looking car, the front end is fucking awful. I don’t care if the damned thing gave me a reach around, I’d never buy a car that looks like that

Is that a hint of RX-8 I see there? After looking a bit harder at this through the lens of Mazda’s history over the past 15 years, I can definitely see the evolution of design in a few of the details.

The current 3, or the last gen? Cause the last gen was kind of not good. I test drove every single mid sized sedan in the segment before buying the 6. They really are that good.

I know Mazda is all about efficiency nowadays but all I want them to do is put the CX-9 motor in something other than the CX-9, like, oh I dunno, a new 6 that takes the looks of the Vision Coupe. If Toyota, Honda and everyone else offer a step-up motor in their midsize sedan, Mazda can too.

There has to be a design school in Japan where the A and B students are hired at Mazda and then the C and D students go to Honda or Toyota... it has to be the only explanation for how one company can do it so right and the others can’t even find the middle-ground.

Those taillights are sex. That is all.

Nobody underwhelms with concept cars like Subaru.

Can I say how genuinely sick I am of the BRZ/FRS weak sauce that’s been produced for eons now?

A 1LS Camaro shook the BRZ/86es down for their lunch money at SCCA Solo Nationals this year. Given equivalent tires, the twins just can’t hang at all with the pony cars.

That said, the Camaro’s rear seat is just as much of a joke as the one in the twins, and my biggest pet peeve about the car is how the shallow trunk

I know the whole diatribe for the BRZ/86 is it’s a fun tossable car that is not for straight lines, blah blah blah, but the Camaro with the turbo-4 makes this thing look like a chump.

Clearly investigators have to crack this case.
