Generally after every update, Firefox will run a compatibility check, prompt you if any plugins are not supported in that version, then check if there are updates to those plugins that restore compatibility. It shouldn't matter which version of HTTPS-Everywhere you're using (unless a version older than 1.0.2

When Firefox does the plugin compatibility check along with the update, it prompts users with 1.0.2 to update to 1.0.3 automatically.

My experience supports this article. At my company, we buy lots of pre-ground coffee beans all at once, storing the current (opened) container in the freezer and the extras on a shelf at room temperature. The coffee tastes increasingly horrible the longer it has been since our last order.
