Returned to thread to +1 this

House of Lies is not just laugh-free, it is intolerable. Like, I cannot handle having it on my television screen (and thus I don't). Who is watching this "comedy" and "laughing" at "it"?

Wasn't the NES game Super Mario Bros. 2 basically the Japanese game "Doki-Doki Panic," with the character images changed? Am I out of line for expecting a connection to uprooting vegetables and drinking magic potions?

I kinda blew this off when the guy in the picture was shouting in the commercial and it seemed really silly and it looked like they put "Homeland" in a microwave.

Can't wait to not watch these!

Yes, Jeff Lynne reduces me to a texting teenage girl. Every. Time.

OK I'll say it, major major shoutout to Noah Cruickshank. I happen to love Mirage, but the guitar at the end of "Gypsy" elevates that song into the emotional stratosphere. What I've never understood is why the cut it off—in the music video version of the song the solo is even LONGER and just fantastic.

I almost wonder if this is encouraged by producers. Similar to when "Wheel of Fortune" contestants unnecessarily purchase vowels.

Debbie Downer alert: Someone didn't read the guide. It clearly states that many of the games have no strategy that is more effective than guessing randomly.

What about Havercamp Shatterdome?

OK so that first quote is supposed to be verbatim? She actually said that?

$25,000 PYRAMID PLEASE

Still saddened that the planned film adaptation of this event, starring Bill Murray, has yet to materialize.

Additionally, regardless of whoever backed it, the song is unlistenable. So, there's that.

"Mmm—that's great bass!!"

Amanis Tamblyssette!

"YOU'RE A BITCH!!"

"Huh…how do you like that. It's a telegram. My grandmother died."

I'd have to disagree here—I think a disturbingly large number of Gaga fans think she invented pop music as we know it. Music critics everywhere certainly acted as if she did as well during her heyday (which, fingers crossed, is far behind us).
