This is where I think it is going as well. I have Verizon FiOS and love the service, but live sports keeps me from cutting that cable. The truly annoying part of cable is the "regional" ties that it has. I live in the north, but I'm a transplanted Southerner. Will the SEC Network be available on FiOS here?

yep...one kid (Laquon Treadwell) committed to the "University of Ole Miss"... which is the best one I've heard so far...

It seems to be...albeit not exclusive to...an old Big 8 thing. Almost all of those schools went with reverse initials. Indiana (Big10...ish) also goes by reverse initials. Don't know why...

11 seconds...Dear GOD that's horrible...

100% agree on all counts...

I actually blogged about it...my solution is no, that the NCAA should offer alternatives to selling "players" jerseys...

Full disclosure for this response: I am a Florida fan...legacy Gator...but I have family who attended FSU (and played football for FSU)... I try to be neutral.

You do know that the "One and Done" and "Three and Done" rules are set by the NBA and NFL respectively right? Those are not NCAA rules. The MLB rule is a little more complicated...

Clinton...because...well, he's CLINTON

I can't see too many fans going to an MLS game DT. I just can't...they go to see the Falcons...but that's the NFL. The MLS team needs a 10-15k seat stadium in Gwinnett or Cobb...with room to expand. The Columbus Crew stadium is relatively small...~20k. No need for Atlanta to be any larger

If they put the stadium in the northern suburbs, they'll be fine. Put it downtown and you can forget it...

...I was born and raised in the Panhandle of Florida... every word of that is true

Except, you know, the new information about sexual assaults at Florida State not being investigated properly (multiple ones), the second consultation after an encounter with Winston, the freshman student who dropped out after being raped on campus and TPD not investigating...

The job is the job...if you don't like the job or are not getting properly rewarded, then move. Getting out of a bad situation is a good thing...especially if you are not being compensated for the work being performed.

Nah...that was Auburn that burned the library

Yeah, recognition of a country's mistake-riddled past is usually glossed-over...

I work at a university...cyclists are insane! "Share the road" they say...fine, I'm OK with that...as long as they obey the laws...

Depends on what you value more, I guess. I would not venture to say what's more important, but in the end going from an Administrator to an Analyst is a demotion either way you look at it.

Titles can be important in certain sectors (as mentioned in other comments). I found that in the Information Technology world, there can be a big difference in the hiring range between an "analyst" and an "administrator"...or "Consultant." Some companies don't want to hire you "up" from one level to another, so if

This is the biggest point to be made. Neck injuries happen from players hitting with the top (or crown) of the helmet, not the front (or forehead).
