I have always loved the name “Grogu,” mostly because it reminds me of “Gogurt,” which would be a fitting name for his analogue in a potential Space Balls sequel.

We’re just going to forget about Zelda II?

Given the limitations of games at the time and the brief ending, I would say that Link and Zelda as a couple was as explicit as you could expect in Zelda II. Yes, it ended with a heavily implied kiss behind a curtain, but that’s farther than most games went at the time. I know you were dismissing implied romance, but

If you liked the Oracle games, have you tried Link’s Awakening? It doesn’t have some of the meatier features, like traversing several versions of the land through different seasons and ages, but it shares a lot with them stylistically.

I think there’s something to that. I’m at odds with myself in the sense that I like getting everything at the beginning and potentially having all the main dungeons act as tests on how well you can use them. But I also like the classic method of building each dungeon around a tool.

When that happens to me, I pick a game from my backlog that’s got a totally different feel and switch between them. One always tends to get more play than the other, but I eventually get around to beating both.

It also replaces some enemies with more powerful versions as you accumulate more points. It's an interesting system, although it did make finding blue maned lynels (and their gear) tricky in BotW.

Are you okay?

“Abbot is a dick with a vendetta against trees for taking his ability to walk”

Oh, right. I totally missed that you were talking about the primaries.

I feel like I'm missing something. Aren't the people you're describing the ones who would be voting for him already?

A bunch of people on here talking about Willow, but the biggest loss in my opinion is Earth to Ned.

I think we have different interpretations of what makes or doesn’t make them the same. Even ignoring the sky and depths, I see the cave systems, the tweaks to the terrain, etc. as it being a different map. The general layout is more or less the same, but the geometry is different and I’m exploring differently because

I figured Loki got held up in post, but they didn’t want to push everything else back. It would explain the months long gap between Secret Invasion and the fall releases.

Yes.

You make a valid point, but I like to do my experimentation on the junk weapons and materials. Does fusing a bow to a melee weapon do anything wild? Let’s try it on a stick and this weak wooden bow. Oh, it just increases the attack. No loss.

I haven’t done any of the other temples yet, but a reward for completing the one in Death Mountain is good for smashing rocks at ground level. It probably could knock down trees as well, but I don’t find myself doing that too often at this point.

The map is not the same, but okay.

Fans reacting to Zelda II...

Any time someone implies that inclusion is bad, I read it as an invitation to treat them like dog shit every possible moment.
