As someone who’s only seen a few series in their entirety, my go to recommendations are 08th MS Team and G Gundam.

I think they look neat, but the turtle heads (except Leo) are the stuff of nightmares. I really like the Shredder/Green Ranger mashup.

These are all great points. I just feel like they’ve long past the point where they could transition to paid DLC. If they’d introduced the game, or even announced within the first few months, that there would be paid DLC, it would have gone over relatively well. That's a good idea, and one they've kinda teased with Zelda and Splatoon. I don't think it's that wild to expect it at any time, though the best bet to me is within the launch window of a new console.
