Woman inherits the earth.

Woman inherits the earth.

They really are big. We have one in our neighborhood that’s easily 14-16" from beak to tail.

I have a convertible. I agree. Sunroofs in normal vehicles are handy though.. Especially when the 4 year old in the back seat rips a fart that is outlawed by the Geneva Convention.

I vouch for Gerry. He’s cool.

From WaPo:

all this has happened before and this will happen again

At this point the Trump Administration might as well go all in with their brazen corruption and just give Whitefish Energy the $300 million in a big burlap sack with a dollar sign in it.

Oh come on. Seriously why are we even going through the motions of extending the benefit of the doubt? If it looks like shit and smells like shit for god’s sake you don’t need to taste it.

Seems like a total coincidence to me. I see nothing suspicious about this. In other news, a California man named Gerry has been awarded a 2 billion dollar contract to rebuild the Hoover damn, because he said he has experience with controlling which way water flows.

I learned on a column shift. My dad had an early 70s Plymouth Duster he ordered that way (made more sense to him to have the shifter close to the steering wheel where your hands should be).

He reminds me a lot of Larry Webster, former tech editor at C&D. Passion for tech with the ability to really break it down with out making you feel dumb.

further evidence for why david tracy is probably the smartest writer in automotive journalism right now. but let’s be clear that by “smartest,” i don’t mean vapid intellectualism; i mean this: david takes the science and engineering behind new materials and breaks them down in an accessible way. this is rare. really

Or, perhaps, automakers can cut back on the 3 ton bloatmobiles they fill their dealerships with.

If mpgs don’t improve, kiss gasoline engines goodbye.

This tech has been around for ages! My buddy’s Chevette back in the 80s totally had compression ignition. You could take the key out and walk away and it was still sitting there cachunka cachunka cachunka...

As a relatively recent (2013) grad of an engineering related program, I can tell you that even though their pricing is bullshit, graphing calculators are still the best there is at what they do. Where the graphing calculator isn’t up to snuff, you’re likely to see Fortran or Matlab rather than smartphone/tablet apps.

I drove this thing too and my assessment was the same as Kristen’s. It’s not insanely fast but it’s plenty quick. Quick enough. I think we’ve become jaded by ridiculous horsepower numbers to the point where we can’t appreciate something that is balanced and perfectly-suited for its job, like this V8 is.

So? This car is not targeted at people planning to race other cars on the road. This is like people who argue that the BRZ is a stupid car because “you will get obliterated by a Mustang on the highway.”

It’s not a boy racer, it’s a luxury grand tourer.
