It’s insignificant if it is out of warranty. 9/10 times many of the smog related items will cost you a small fortune to replace on diesels. Not a matter of if but when.

Save what? Your time I guess isn’t valuable. Save $10 or couple extra gallons? Maybe you cut coupons, go to the market on extra two for one day and stand in line at 3am for black Friday to save $200?

Thing is the big three has had this ability for oh, twenty years. But just like GM first electric car they killed it in the drawing room. Now the EPA has come to strangle them and they are struggling for air. All the wrong pig headed moves. They should have done this years ago and had twenty years to build on it
