Like saying a Porsche Panamera is a sports car. It’s not, it’sreally a touring car. But a damn fast one. :)

This. I bought my wife a Lexus IS350 convertible and it’s plenty fast for us. Do I need 500-700hp? Nope. Do I need to do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds? No. The IS350 has plenty of go power. Frankly I don’t give a rip if some dude can beat me by 1-2 seconds.

My two criticism of this car. The software is crap and that seems to be a common theme of every reviewer. It’s execution and what one has to do in order for it to work.

The key to all this is their battery plant.

They could only by making an end run around the big five auto makers. Tesla is writing the narrative (Electric is the future!) and with that battery plant they will do what none of the big five can. Make batteries for ALL electric cars.
