I had to read this an embarrassingly high number of times to convince myself it made grammatical sense.

According to the shop, modern Fiat motors REALLY don’t like being taken out of the original cars. Somebody has done it, but it’s significantly more complicated, doesn’t have as much aftermarket support, and doesn’t provide the reliability reputation that a K-swap has. 

I like this idea. All the fun of a modern engine power, plus the sound of Satan’s Chihuahua growling.

I really do like it better when swaps stay in the same manufacturer family.

As the owner of an Abarth, I would also add that it’s pretty freaking easy to get that engine to 200hp.

$60,000 in 1991 is corvette price, just a high performance one. The C4 ZR-1 was $64,000.

Myself and several of my friends (miata people) would have considered a 4c with a manual. That was the sole dealbreaker.

I think they should keep DRS but get rid of DRS “zones.” Let the drivers use at any point on the track where they feel it can provide them an advantage.
