The entire family has been overrated for decades.

Let me know when they give America the manual version.

Nobody is considering spending $275k. People are either high enough on the VIP list to get an allocation at MSRP, in which case it is a no brainer and they have already put down a deposit, or they are considering spending twice that to buy one from someone with an allocation.

They’ve been talking about that for 10 years now. Don’t know why it hasn’t happened yet.

Allegedly the Esprit was almost complete in 2010 when Bahar came to town and was going to use the 2UR-GSE, but Bahar decided that it needed an in house engine, not a Toyota engine, for it to sell in the mid 100s. So all funds were diverted into developing an engine, and they ran out of money before the car was

I’m glad they are back to using the Type number system for internal designations, they really haven’t mentioned that in about 10 years.

Or will the Tesla be a rebadged Lotus like last time?

All Lotus cars have a type number. My Elise is a type 111. The street cars get a real name, the race cars stick with the type number designation.  It will be something that starts with an E, like all Lotus street cars.

Now if they’ll just drop the $75 parking ticket I owe them, clearly that’s not of any importance either.

There are a couple dealers advertising for MSRP, still quite a few asking $5k over, dont think anyone is actually biting. The stories of people flipping are not the norm, unless it’s a Porsche.

It always happens, car comes out, some dealer hopes some idiot is willing to pay a premium to be the first to own it, 6 months later you can find them under MSRP.

Joe Biden is the original owner of a 67 Corvette.

You get mocked for any car. That’s how car culture works.  Buy what you like.

Nobody has confirmed the death of the front engined vette. Most journalists expect the two to be produced side by side.

Chevy will not force you to make a video to describe how big of an influencer you are to earn the right to purchase one of these and sign a contract to not sell it and sue you when you do.

Yeah, we were ready to release it 30 years ago, but it made sense to release it when the date coincided with the ‘Ring time.

You’re just waiting for it to change either way, it’s not like you were going to be doing anything productive in that time you wasted pressing it more.

The official paint scheme for British companies skating on the edge of bankruptcy.

The cost of the raw material is usually less than the cost of the finished product made from it.  Like a lot less, especially in the supercar realm.

    Hahaha. Totally missed that part.
