He said he didn’t want a Lotus because it needs to function as a daily, but 2 of the 3 suggestions are less functional as a daily. Maybe he forgot the Evora existed like it seems everyone does and thinks the Elise/Exige are the only options.

That big wing on the back makes downforce, which slows it down. He’s not building it for top speed, he’s building this for track speed.
The TT is a lot more comfortable and practical - back seat, roof, all wheel drive. That would be a much better daily than a Miata.
Carmax has one thing going for it. If you search for a manual transmission car, it actually shows manual transmission cars. Nobody else can seem to figure that out.
Abarth 500. It gets over 30 mpg if you dont drive like a maniac.
Saw this one in person last year. It’s occasionally on display at McLaren Chicago.
The chain of fraud goes all the way back to Ferry Porsche slapping a fancy emblem on his dads beetle.
Gotta be some 80s kids buying McLarens.
Should have kept the roof beam and made it a T-Top.
75% of their sales are already to vehicles with 4 doors. Not like this is taking away from the cars we care about.
Until his first out of warranty repair, then he’s going to be a 10%er.

No, and this is coming from a person who actually prefers the M3 convertibles. The point of an M5 over an M3 is the practicality of carrying more than one other passenger. This takes it away. Now if they gave it 60s Lincoln style suicide doors, well that’s a different story.
Manuel?
No, they didnt want to give access to outside cameras. They’re more paranoid about someone spying on them than the average infowars listener. Cant have their secrets or cheating getting out there for someone else to find. I’d imagine it was a you can come in at set times, and cant film the car when it’s open or go…
Maybe it’s about the drive, not the way it looks. You want that fixed, it’s gonna be in the shop for months. Little tape and you’re back on the road.
My Lotus is only 957,000 short. Toyota engine, nothing much else to break.
It’s hard to quantify, but the physical size of an engine and the displacement are different. The 4.0L in a E90M3 is bigger than an LS1 because of the engine layout.
